The Abortion Debate Containment Thread - Put abortion sperging here.

Except when it comes to vaccines. You're a total Karen when it comes to that topic.
I never said vaccines should be made mandatory (in a legal sense). I am fine with companies making it mandatory to work there, as it's their right to do that (and having a job for a particular company is not a right). Vaccines are also a public health issue; a woman getting an abortion has no effect on you

You, however, want to get rid of women's body autonomy like a good /pol/ right-wing spaz

I know the answer to this, but, are there really people in the world so autistic they can't comprehend why others would find them absolutely repulsive for killing their own babies?

>Muh forced pregnancy
Nobody forced you to have sex, dumbass. Nobody forced you to take off the condom. Nobody forced you to spit out the birth control pill. Nobody forced you to spit out the Plan B. Nobody forced you to cum inside. Nobody forced you to ignore the dozens of other contraceptive options easily available. Instead you chose to go for the "kill the baby" method of birth control.

No I support abortion because without it we'd have more knuckleheads like you roaming about! I think you should need a license to have a kid.

Contraceptives fail, dumbass.

Wow good thing you have plan B dumbass. I have been having sex once a week on average for 10 years and I can count on my fingers the number of times the condom broke. You know what I immediately did? I went and got Plan B. Never once did I have to kill any babies and I am proud to say my conscience is completely clear. Though even if I did accidentally have a baby during this time, my first concern wouldn't be how to kill it but whether it was getting the proper nutrition with pre-natal vitamins.

Either you accept that babies are human life or you don't. If you choose to go for the easy path of denying responsibility, then don't be surprised when others are completely abhorred by your actions.

Too fucking bad.

Ever consider not having sex if you're worried about contraceptives failing? Sperm doesn't just self eject and fly through the air into someone's vagina, after all.
Only somebody who has never had sex would be screaming *Stop having sex!"

Not all women have access to Plan B. Abortion is the most responsible option for those women.

What fucking world do you live in where killing a baby because you don't want to look after it is considered responsible? Responsibility is raising and cherishing the life you created, not abruptly ending it because you are afraid that taking care of them will impact your vacation plans.

It is far more ethical to terminate before the embryo has any sentience than it is to bring an unwanted child into the already overpopulated world.
"I literally cannot stop myself from having sex!" -- a person who's had sex, according to you
Why do you even insist on inserting yourself in this conversation? You know nothing about abortion. You know nothing about pregnancy. You know nothing about women. And you certainly know nothing about sex. Butt out, Karen.

people always attack religion when they say being pro life is bad
but under the parameters of the subject of abortion, you could technically be for science and an atheist and still be pro life.
the scientific definition of life covers pretty much everything except viruses
if you believe murder is wrong, you need 2 parameters to be able to muder someone or at the very least commit homicide.
the person thats killed has to be a human being, the person being killed has to obviously have been alive.
if you kill an animal, you'd never get charged with murder, if you shoot a corpse you'd get corpse abuse.
so if we base it on the scientific definition of whats alive, all abortion is banned essentially.
if we base it on when something is a human being, it gets a bit harder. like 8 weeks or something?
certainly a lot sooner than whatever it is now.

Are you trying out new arguments now?

"The world" isn't overpopulated. There are areas of the world that are underpopulated, which is part of the reason why they bring in refugees/guest workers, are increasing the number of immigrants they bring in/focus on taking in as many immigrants as possible, or are presently considering the prospects.

What does this have to do with you implying that people who've had sex literally cannot stop themselves from having sex? Never mind the bullshit that is you claiming I know nothing of subjects I've demonstrated I have thorough knowledge of, likely in another bid to gatekeep the conversation because it's ridiculously easy to point out your stupidity.

It would be even more ethical to do neither and take responsibility for the child instead of killing it or neglecting it. You do realize that, as the parent, it is your choice how the baby is brought up, right?

You guys do know than plan B can fail as well?
I have been using contraceptives for 10 years (and I have children so I know I'm not sterile) and never once had an unplanned pregnancy. In fact, it takes at least a few tries during ovulation days to get pregnant.

There are 50 MILLION abortions worldwide EVERY YEAR. This is more than any other cause of death combined including disease, war and old age. So it seems like this isn't "a last resort" due to "contraceptive failure" but that the world is full of disgusting subhumans who just raw dog for months on end with no contraception and then act surprised when sex fills its biological purpose and then kill the baby as the first line of contraception.

Though I already said before, contraceptive or not, it doesn't matter, if I did have an accidental pregnancy, I wouldn't kill my own child. You come here to laugh at moronic lolcows who never take responsibility, and who constantly self destruct and destroy their own lives and the lives of those around them, yet you lack the self-awareness to see how you are guilty of the same thing. I suppose you never will because you would first have accept the monstrous crimes you have committed which is probably far too heavy for you to bear.

This is just NOT a realistic option for everybody and the foster system is already a dehumanizing hellhole. Unfortunatly the world doesn't have that much to offer.

Congrats for that irrelevant piece of anecdote but you realize that nobody asked to know how many time you need to get jeezed in to conceive? You do realize how that's TMI, right? You do realize your case isn't comparable to every single woman on earth? Some do tend to be hyper-fertile and just end up with multiple unwanted pregnancies even on the pill.

All i said is that Plan B doesn't have 100% efficiency, you can do everything right and still end up with child.

We are 8 BILLIONS who the fuck cares. Foetus mixer go BRRRR.

I never had an abortion in my life you delusional sow.

This is not about me.

And about lolcows: in every thread there's someone saying that the lolcow's mother should have aborted them. Kiwifarm is a weird place to argue against abortions.

Jeez i wasn't gonna let myself be dragged into this quagmire because people like you have been so thoroughly brainwashed de-radicalizing you would take years. But here you go.

I keep seeing the "don't have sex" argument over and over in response to abortion. Fair, pregnancy is caused by sex. But two angles need to be considered: 1. It takes two people to make a pregnancy. If women need to keep their legs closed, men need to keep their dicks in their pants and stop whoring around too. You're right, semen doesn't just accidentally end up in a vagina. Someone has to put it in there, and that someone also could have chosen not to have sex. 2. If you're in a committed relationship or married to someone, are you really going to be okay with having a sexless life until you two are ready to have children? Most people would say no.

I know someone with this opinion and if this were to become law, I would actually be okay with it. The first abortion is no questions asked, no argument. However, any abortions after that become progressively harder and harder to get. I feel like this is a good way for both sides to meet in the middle. I'm pro-choice, but I do agree with pro-lifers on this one point: there is no reason why a woman should be getting multiple abortions. Birth control exists for a reason, and many birth control methods can be paired up for even more protection.
