There's a sense in which you indeed cannot only say "don't have sex", but not only is "don't have sex" not the only thing that's being said, but anybody who wants to teach any kind of sexual restraint is butting heads with an already highly sexualized culture where children are being exposed to hardcore pornography at the age of nine, young men are encouraged to use the bodies of women for some kind of half-assed rite of passage, young women are encouraged to allow their bodies to be used by those young men as a means to self-validate (or because they think that's all they have to give), WAP is an "anthem", Teen Vogue is talking to teenage girls about anal sex, teenagers are being encouraged to have irreparable damage done to their bodies and endocrine systems in service of becoming the "big tiddy goth gf"/"uke"-- and all the while, there's no actual long-term relationship goal within many of these people, because none of them are being taught that such a thing is good to have.

So, no shit "people are still fucking"-- but it's become more widespread, the culture around it has degenerated gravely, and it's not getting better (you can regale me about how the Puritans were going out in the forest to have sex-- the fact that they had to consider being rendered hypocrites was itself a mitigating factor, in both general and specific magnitude). And I have not seen a single happy and mentally well-to-do person who engaged in and/or was fixated on attaining casual sex, where it was clear they weren't the kind of person even remotely considering starting a family or even being in a long term relationship with the people with whom they were having sex (if they were).

I'm in favour of access to abortion, I just come to this thread to see the men who oppose it go ham. Society has made it so men are not permitted to discuss abortion publicly, but this seems to have left women completely unable to defend their stance in favour of it in an open debate.

I have actually seen women defend abortion in a dignified way, just never in this thread. I mean look at the users who claim to be women in this thread, absolute retards, the lot of them.

And? Children should not have sex. The age of majority is 18. Ergo, people below that age should not be having sex. If you think people younger than that should be having sex, then get the age of majority lowered. Although I am curious as to why you think people below that age should be fucking. Usually people who express this level of interest in the sexuality of minors are considered pedophiles, or creepy at the very least, but when it comes to justifying abortion I guess anything goes.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with two consenting adults having sex.

Kids are going to have sex whether you like it or not, welcome to reality. Might as well educate them on being safe. Also, kids should know what sex is in case someone tries to groom them, so they can identify the behavior if it's inappropriate.

Children can only hide things from their parents if the parents allow it or are otherwise negligent. Children are at the mercy of adults. If adults actually decide that a child should not do something, the child is powerless to do any more than throw an impotent tantrum. The reason underage sex is so common is that your attitude is the prevailing one; the culture in general believes that it is not really that bad, and maybe it's even good, and so excuses it and allows it.
