I think both should be allowed but used sparingly. Euthanasia in cases where a person is in extreme pain with little to no chance of survival, and consent to it. Capital punishment for rare cases of repeated serious crimes (violent murderers and pedos basically).

There are probably decent arguments for both sides. Not something I've thought about much tbh. I suppose the main ones against euthanasia would be if there is any chance for survival one should take it, or that if you believe it is plain wrong to end your life regardless due to religious or cultural reasons. Capital punishment would be the chance of killing an innocent person or that the death sentence would be too harsh for the type of crime committed (for example any drug related crime), or if you believe the two wrongs don't make a right mindset in relation to justice via capital punishment.

I think we shouldn't make up extreme, highly improbable situations in order to put up strawmen in order to justify or refute an argument.

I think that in 2015, the fact that more African American babies were aborted in Yew York than were born is a very good argument as to why abortion is an issue and it should be crippled as much as is reasonably possible.

I think the fact that "Shout your abortion" exists is a good enough reason to limit it. People keeping score and celebrating how many kids they've aborted is a good enough reason to outlaw it.

These are fundamentally different issues. In the case of euthanasia, the patient is able to provide informed consent. Capital punishment is reserved for people who have done something to deserve it, such as raping children. I have never understood why "you don't think children should be murdered in the womb, but you think child rapists should get the chair?!!?!?! HYPOCRITE!!!1" is considered some kind of gotcha.

Its because they're stupid. These people (if you can call them that) can hold like five contradictory opinions without any nuiance that might explain it away simoltaniously.
