It really isn't though, eugenics is really only a meaningful concept at the society wide level, but it certainly could be used as such.

Prolifers never fail to make abortion sound way more badass and metal than it actually is

In reality while abortions do include a fair bit of blood, it's usually your own since the amount of blood in something the size of a blueberry or smaller is pretty minimal.

Btw my mom actually wasnt the alcoholic parent, but she was a narcissist. Tbh I can't say I'd be all that opposed to forced sterilization of narcissists, they are that unfit to care for children.

Giving a kid to a narcissist is barely a click above giving a kid to a pedophile. Why do you want kids to be born to people who are wired to abuse them?

Then again this is the same thread that has a weird fetish with forcing me to have a kid even though I've powerleveled all over the place about being fucking crazy and completely unfit to care for a child.

Btw you'd have to fish thousands of embryos/fetuses out of the sewer or trash to turn them into a beverage. Sounds gross and not worth the effort. Youre better off just raiding an IVF clinic, it's not like they don't destroy thousands of embryos daily.

Some do, but even those that do only seem to bring it up when called out on it. You never hear about prolifers harassing people outside clinics or murdering IVF doctors, and at least in the US they arent pushing for it to be outlawed. In fact iirc the Alabama abortion ban actually has a specific exception for IVF clinics so they can destroy as many embryos as they like.

Wonder why that is.

This is a lie. Quit pretending we don't find you utterly revolting. Also, if your upbringing was so insurmountably traumatic then you can go ahead and dispose of yourself now that you're all grown up. I'm still not sure why you want to end the lives of innocent children just because you got dealt a shitty hand in life, seems pretty evil and petty.

I'm fine with abortion, just be honest about what it is. There is no "mere clump of cells". If left on its own, an embryo has an incredibly high probability (100%) of becoming a human child if the mother doesn't miscarry. It is already alive. Conception begins when the sperm meets the egg. The end, not up for debate. Anything beyond that is an abstraction by armchair philosophers and scum. Abortion is murder, but that's your choice. Just like everything that hits mainstream politics, this issue has been sugarcoated by the dishonest for longer than I can remember. Just admit to what it is, and do it if you want, but expect sympathy from absolutely nobody. If you're an emotional, suicidal, trainwreck because you got an abortion, then you deserve to feel that way.

If you leave a piece of food out long enough it has an incredibly high probability of growing mold. However, the bread itself is not mold. Likewise an embryo or fetus isnt yet a person.

Thankfully a vast majority of women don't regret their abortions, and it certainly doesn't make them suicidal. Suicidal thoughts are a fairly common risk with pregnancy and childbirth, however, as part of the postpartum depression/psychosis package. Many women with known mental health issues, including myself, have that as a huge factor in their decision to be childfree.

Do women who become emotional, suicidal trainwrecks because they went through pregnancy and childbirth also deserve to feel that way? Asking for a friend.

Human cells are not bread, or the equivalent in your analogy. That's not an accurate parallel to draw.

It's more like the instant it stops being parasitically attached to another person and putting their life in danger is when that person's right to bodily autonomy stops overulling the right of a fetus to exist (not that a fetus should have any rights). Tho like I said above I personally think with FUBAR potato babies who will never have any quality of life even when they're out of another person's body they should be given palliative care only. It's cruel and a waste of resources to try and prolong the existence of something incompatible with life.

I guess in my analogy the embryo/fetus would be mold spores then. Are mold spores the same thing as full blown mold?

Lots of things have human cells btw. Tumors have human cells. Human cells aren't exactly special. Shit, you can even buy them and grow them fairly easily with basic lab equipment. Thinking it's murder to flush an embryo just because it has human cells is like saying buying and selling HeLa cells is slavery.
