Abortion is wrong because its making money off the death of a child as well as allowing retards who refused to wear a condom during sex to not be responsible for being retards. Also, regarding the rape argument, why should the child be killed when it is innocent. Killing the child is just bringing more suffering out of the situation. Also, a large amount of women regret abortions afterwards.

This is type of question where your morality takes a huge matter. For me it is life. It can be clump of cells now but this will likely become somebody. You may call it fetus but this is just a stage in fetal development as development of human being from toddler to child, to preteen, to teen, to young adult, to adult and so on. I can't grasp the concept of women eager to abort the clump of cells simply because she is not ready. If it was so easy for her to have sex with men and let him end in her, why can't she along with her partner take responsibility for fucking without condom? Action is cause of reaction.

Personally, I am anti-natalist because it takes huge amount of pride to conceive child just to have one.

I see opponents of abortion play down the filthy evil that is bastardy. I don't know why so many are so permissive about this social catastrophe.

In the past, your villain of the week was a bastard. One of the principal villains in King Lear isn't Sally's missed period but a bastard.

In our time, a kind of uneducable class of untouchables has arisen as a result of the collapse of the family unit. Their characteristics are immediately identifiable - love of tattoos, customary girlfriend beatings and pumping out bastards. If you live in a city, why can't you walk the streets at night? Bastards. Naturally, bastards make up nearly all gang members.

The impact of bastardy may not be as immediate as killing your offspring, which abortion undoubtedly is, but it is a greater evil over the longer term. Abortion does act as a release valve to prevent the rest of us from subsidizing a social blight.

On the other hand, there is a sort of dishonesty in the argument from pro-abortion view because a lot of the proponents think the family of little account anyway. And then they would have to face up to the social policies which have incentivized bastardy - and that would require honesty. Not going to happen.

I used to be strongly pro-choice. Now I'm pro-life. Ask me anything, I guess.

Coincidentally I apparently held the majority opinion both then and now. The first time abortion came up was before this subforum became pol-lite. I will say that I'm surprised most of the pro life posts here don't make exceptions for the disabled.

This paper seems to suggest major flaws with that study: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6161227/.
A couple of important points is that the study's results could be biased by women deciding whether or not to participate )according to the linked paper, participation is low) and possible biased recruiting of women. These could be considerable problems if true.

By the way, it may be best to try to link directly to research articles rather than news articles. They should also be peer-reviewed scientific journal articles. You can find peer-reviewed articles by searching sites such as Pubmed. I didn't find the any article produced by the study your link mentions on Pubmed, but the paper I linked seems to indicate that peer-reviewed articles were produced from it.

Worship is a strong word, especially considering that a person is a grifter but it's nice not to be treated like cattle but a human every now and then. That's how grifters keep their grift - they make people like them.
