I've gotten the recap from the other Crats who said that AEdiot came in as discussions were progressing and things fizzled out from there.

We, as in oldED, would not have a problem with it. The wiki is still a treasure. That archive deserves to be in better, competent hands.

However, our current setup is really good. The .online loads fast and is nearly restored. But, it's good to know there is some interest from people who have been proven trustworthy and reliable on other sites.

We are doing great so far. Popping this up on another server only takes a few hours when you have people who know what they are doing. We get a lot of practice since AEdiot likes to make phony nazi / trademark complaints to our hosting providers.

Our main issue with him wasn't even the darknet scam shit or him trying to sell ED.

The wiki would only be up for a few weeks before going down again. Last time .wiki was offline nearly two months when we kicked him off.

That and he doesn't know how to use Xenforo and was using phpBB to host the fucking forums.

you know, I'm checking back in to say that we could've all just joined together to recreate ED (as long as you kick out pedo-adjacent people) but you'd rather bicker like idiots all day. I haven't been around very long but I'm not really understanding why there's such a divide to begin with
