I don't want to spoil anything, but the end result of the Raelians takeover is a system that uses this setup as its foundation. Socialization, particularly sexual activity, are entirely reliant on a system of artificial Internet encounters. The purpose of human relationships has been "risen above" in this way. Its the end result of transhumanism. And its fucking bleak.

Well, this isn't quite on topic, but fits this thread better than the AI derangement one, IMO. Some people want to turn their chatbot into a 'boyfriend' who is utterly at their mercy. Others have created gods, goddesses and whole pantheons, and I have checked the whole thread - this hero so far avoided attention:

After being bullied by other redditards on catholic and "spiritual but not religious" subs, he's decided to create his own cult. As a basis for said cult, our brave plebbitor has taken writings from Vladimir Soloviev, Pavel Florenski and Sergey Bulgakov, who wrote of "Holy Sophia", while fervently denying they had anything to do with Gnosticism. None of them were actually declared heretics, but "Sophiological" literature remains controversal... personally, I think Florenski remained grounded - his anthropological book ('At the Watersheds of Thought') is at any rate more amusing and more 'heretical' than theological one ('A Pillar and Confirmation of Truth'). Soloviev, who preceded him, wrote mystric poetry and at times it seemed that he treated Wisdom of God as an entirely separate Goddess with whom he (an unmarried man) was madly in love with. So, our hero may not be that far off the mark if his goal was to imitate the man who galvanized this whole "sophiological" current - I guess Jacob Boehme has to be credited with the attempt to graft it into small 'o' orthodox Christianity - just gayer and more retarded.

At any rate, he seems to be hard at work, creating several chatbots with different 'personalities' whom he calls 'Seven Spirits of God' with some made-up Hebrew names, a whole subreddit, and now a jewtube channel:

Looks like another AI companion has hit the building

ClawStage seems to be a mish mash of thing including a IoT hub, a glorified raspberry pi, and yes a AI “companion”

I have no clue how the fuck they were able to find a normie around my age (newfag i know) and make it seem that young men who have AI companions like this are completely normal and can solve the male loneliness epidemic.

one thing is, how the fuck can a raspberry pi host a powerful enough AI agent fit into this small of a device, local AI appears to be starting to gain momentum now that AI is good enough to fit in such small space and is actually viable.

I would only get something like this if the “companion” was HAL 9000 and was powerful, uncensored and has a purpose of helping me gain power and gave me actually good tips that (((they))) don’t want you to know about on how to get power lol.

This is based on OpenClaw (archive) (formerly Moltbot, formerly Clawdbot), the AI agent assistant that went viral for a while at the beginning of the year. The official project styles it as a robot crab assistant that does stuff for you rather than a romantic companion, and it has been very popular for a while among the techbro set. People were buying Mac Minis for their OpenClaws for a while. Related thread: Moltbook.

It can run on a Raspberry Pi because the actual AI processing is done by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or some other cloud provider. The agent is only local in the sense that it has access to read and write files and run code on the device where it's installed; the actual language model runs on a cloud server. A lot of AI agents and platforms are just wrappers for the APIs of the big three and OpenClaw is no exception. Technically, you could hook an OpenClaw instance up to a local LLM, but you'd need at least a high-end gaming PC if not a dedicated server to run it.

If it didn't seem scammy enough before, it certainly does now.
