Plagued The Alt-Right

The alt-right really seem to believe that they're gaining a whole lot of traction, but I'm pretty skeptical. I'm not sure they're accomplishing anything other than convincing more and more people to hate them. I just don't think a movement who's methods seem mostly based around vulgar insults like 'cuck', incessant shitposting, and imageboard in-jokes, has the potential to go anywhere where it doesn't have online anonymity to hide behind.

I think the impression that they have that they're actually making some headway is a result of self-delusion as the their role in the success of the Trump campaign. In fact, Trump is doing as well as he is not do to some online fringe group, but because he's tapped into a much more mainstream kind of populist resentment. The people that he has gone after, prompted all the allegations of xenophobia and racism, Muslims and illegal immigrants, aren't exactly popular in the US in the first place. As far as the arch-enemy of the far-right, the Jews, are concerned, I think it would be a hell of a lot easier to argue that Trump is philosemitic rather than antisemitic. The alt-right probably represents a pretty minuscule portion of his supporters. I doubt that most of the people voting for Trump have even heard of the them.

And if he wins, I have feeling that the alt-right is going to be very disappointed. I certainly don't want Trump as president, but I think it would be pretty amusing to see how the Hitler fanboys would react when their designated Fuhrer starts to buddy-up with Netanyahu.

I don't think they care about ideology. Trump could come out in favor of universal healthcare tomorrow and they'd support it.

At this point the alt-right seems more about the cult of personality. Trump fills a void they have in their own lives. I have a feeling if you came across the most vocal in that movement you'd find they have rather inconsequential lives and no luck with women (despite their boisterous claims online otherwise). Probably bullied in their lives in some capacity. As long as Trump gives off the impression that he's a tough talking, successful person who won't take shit from anybody (everything they are not), he'll have their support.

Agree on the fact of their role in his success. Reminds me a bit of Ron Paul fever years ago and to an extent Bernie Sanders today. You'd think they'd be dominating elections if your only source was social networking sites. But it's such a small percent of the voting population that is engaged in that kind of stuff.

I've lurked around a few of these idiots hangouts to get an idea what they think about Trump, and their reasons for liking the guy tend to boil down to:

1. He trolls all those shitty liberals we hate.
2. He hates beaner scumbags takin our jerbs.
3. He supports white people (even though he has minorities on his team and is silent on supporting racism).
4. He'll be Hitler II and reclaim murica from those degenerates currently fucking it up.

Of course, they even have excuses to explain away why he appears more moderate than he is.

1. Trump hasn't openly supported them, like denouncing people like David Duke (Excuse: He waited until they put him on the spot, said something to shut his opponents up, he secretly supports us, he's just biding his time until he can seize power)

2. Trump said he'd be willing to work on letting illegals who want to be legals stay: (Excuse: He's just trying to silence his critics until he becomes god emperor, he really fucking hates wetbacks for real)

3. The excuse here is obvious: Tokens to silence critics, he'll install the KKK as his cabinet once their useful fool status ends.

4. This has the dumbest excuse of all: If he pisses off people who hate us, he can't be all bad. Which, of course, is zero guarantee he'll be Hitler II if/when he becomes president, but they treat his candidacy like it's a predetermined article of faith he'll be President and start sending their enemies to the camps once in power.

It is intensely entertaining to try to pin them down on their statements though. I tried to get a few to explain exactly how the Jewish Menace eliminating the White Ubermenschen would benefit them in anyway and got a lot of verbal squirming.

Assuming any veracity in the insanely stupid global jewish conspiracy, it makes sense in context. A cultural/ethnic outsider minority that has been repeatedly maligned, persecuted and chased out of practically every other collective around, repeatedly and over hundreds of years, for refusing to integrate would benefit from balkanizing and breaking down those collectives. If they are weak enough then they won't forcefully try to integrate them. It's a bit narrow as an end-goal and of course ignores the other problems common to any other conspiracy theory, such as the unrealistic hive-mind type secrecy that would be necessary, the dozens of other more plausible explanations, the bias in even perceiving those issues as linked with jews in any way in the first place, etc. But then again it is considered the dumb conspiracy theory par excellence for a reason.

@Cynical Pretty much what I thought, but thanks for wading through the septic tank to confirm it.

So, any move he makes that isn't directly supporting them is just his well-camouflaged support for them... His entire campaign could be "I'll never ever ever do "A"!" and then once elected, if he does "A" as his first act, these clowns will simply say "Ah, he's just lulling everyone into complacency, watch! Tomorrow he'll get em!" and when he doesn't "the time isn't juuuuuust right yet, wait for it..."

Never Mind they've been saying the SAME thing about Obama coming for your guns for the last 7 years...... juuuust a bit longer..... and it will happen, we all KNOW that's what's going on! It's just all cleverly hidden!!!!

Not that I expect any logic from entrenched ideological blowhards, but when you're backing politics 80 years out of date at best, and 200 at worst, guess you gotta take those moments of hope where and when you find them.

What's ironic is that they hate minorities for not integrating, then they hate them for diluting (their own, because they apparently care now) culture.

That's one of the reasons I find these cretins talking about children and stuff super creepy. It's very Chris-Chan.

I must get some women to have sex with me... for the Fatherland of-course.

In a another topic on the site recently there was a picture of Stalin, looking down from heaven at all the faggots who are the Communist movement these-days in horror whilst Hitler looks on laughing at him. The same could be done for Hitler.

If not for the resolution and the colour you'd never of guessed we weren't looking at a model member of 1940's Germany society would you?
I wouldn't trust these people to take care of a pet rock.

Reactions: on a serious note
I found an interesting anti-SJW that happens to be a total Trump Supporter with some really interesting views.

And by interesting, I mean batshit fucking insane (and would not be surpised if he was some kind of Alt-Right schmuck).

Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you Black Pigeon Speaks!

Here's his YouTube channel, which posts videos such as this:

Also found some sad, lonely woman that also happens to be Alt-Right in the "related videos".

I posted this on the Anti-SJW thread here and I decided that it would be pretty appropriate to post this in the Alt-Right thread because I definitely think these two channels could count as having Alt-Right views (especially the latter channel).

Pretty much this. I remember it being called the "Make Yourself Great Again" movement. It doesn't come down to anything but seeing someone who is confident and boisterous upsetting people that they think "wronged" them. They see his rise as the start of an era in which they aren't total failures at everything, but in actuality Trump isn't going to give them a government mandated girlfriend or whatever they think he'll do.

I remember when they paraded over how they got "cuck" into the mainstream. A+ effort there, you got an easy four or seven letter word to trivialize your opponent's argument and make it easy to tear down as your crowning achievement. Of course, it's only a strawman when they're (those dirty DIRTY cultural Marxists who dare argue against me) the ones doing it.

EDIT: Math is hard.

You beat me to it. I've been thinking of creating a thread on this very special individual myself for weeks. But I was too lazy to do anything about it.

Some time ago I watched that "why women destroy nations" and I wasn't surprised at all that he would talk of Germany; it is probably the only relevant global economy headed by a woman and this is why it is the only example he would have heard of because he gets all his information from "independent" news sources that are just as uninformed as he is. And that is why, for example, he wouldn't know that Lithuania's female president Dalia Grybauskaite is decidedly in favour of a more restrictive EU immigration policy.
