For example, Mussolini and his Italian dictatorship fell due to having such of an oppressive rule. As for Hitler, one reason he fell was the killing the Jews who were also some of the most important sources for his military production other than attacking the Soviet Union. Either way, democracy became the victor because no body wants to lose their freedom(yes even for Chris). This guys who want a totalitarian rule should just live on an island ruled by one person and see how that'll turn out.

The funniest thing about guys who throw around the word "cuck" is that more often than not they all but suck Trump's dick (and Putin's too). A bunch of fat dweebs mooning over how some politicians are "OMG so manly!" don't seem like the straightest arrows in the quiver to me. I somehow suspect that a bunch of queers calling other men cucks might just be a case of projection.

I think it's because they're fools who think they're super-smart, but are easily hoodwinked by charismatic charlatans who will say literally anything they want to hear.

See: "Billionare buisnessmen are manipulating the left! The fools! Now, let's go to this rally supporting a billionaire businessman!"

Alternatively, people who think everything is a conspiracy but support Trump, as if Trump could've become a billionaire without being part of the conspiracy.

Donald "The Government's Gonna Pay For It" Trump is not right-wing by any stretch of the imagination. He's more authoritarian and nativist, which has existed prominently in leftist countries like the Soviet Union. I would put him at the center, which makes the alt-right's admiration of him all the more curious.

I think it's because, deep down, many "small government" faux-"right wingers" actually DO want the government to give them free stuff and coddle them, they just want it to provide for and coddle ONLY them, and nobody else.

It's not curious at all. He's a socialist (look at his trade policies) and a nationalist. So is it really such a surprise that a bunch of third reich larpers are into him?

Their projection issues are amusing indeed.

It's even more laughable how they see "manliness" as Mr. Burns with a bad combover repeatedly saying stupid things on national television.

Of course, Putin is worse than a blowhard like Trump, with the former's track record of legitimate warmongering and a trail of dead and imprisoned critics.

Apparently, Trump supporters think that the sleazy businessman that THEY support has far more integrity than a sleazy businessman like George Soros.

Regarding conservatives and/or libertarians ranting about how much they claim to hate "free stuff", they'd still take it if they could. ...They don't want free stuff for other people, the sorts of people they disapprove of. Basically "fuck you, I've got mine."
