Ok, but here's my thoughts on hoffy's ytp, it stinks. Its like the rest of the new ytp scene, no bark, no bite, just safe edgy and it sucks ass.

My honest guess is that they are basically brain scans, but that they make peace with it. Maybe they make peace with Caine because they're actually a program to help some kid in coma and he's that kid since he acts that way. The twist of the whole story being that it was actually their mission to keep him sane.

I'm not really much of a theorist and have watched zero theories though so I'm just going by my single viewing of every episode.

That kind of shit's what the recent theory people keep slopping out and I genuinely hope the "nothing matter everybody ai" shit isn't the case because really boring and predictable subversion le expectation of the last decade doesn't seem to fit this thing.

Nothing in the series points to this so idk where you got it.


Also, while C&A is in fact “real”, the part about stasis pods was made up by Abel. I think the most likely thing is that they got their brains zapped when they put on the headset, the copy is created, but on the real human side it just feels like some kind of sudden and quick eye scan.
 
My theory is that they're all comatose patients being kept lucid via some brain thingie in hospital beds.

Makes sense:
* Random selection because people just happened to be committed
* Partially remember stuff because comatose/braindead
* Caine does adventures to keep them alive basically
* All our characters suffered a tragic accident (they can't remember)
* Abstraction is brain death or unhooked
* Jax's abstraction looked like some seizure
* Pomni's backstory is a red herring
