I also would like to see it in theaters, but the idea of: paying money, smelling the other people, and hearing the kids scream and screech makes me not want to go at all. :(

I think they are trying to copy the "call your theater" campaign Markiplier did for Iron Lung. This will be interesting to watch, because it will test if this model was a one off success. How the finale performs could permanently change the type of content available in theaters.

I think lots of non-TADC fan will be watching how this goes for this exact reason. Of course, this also makes the possible fail options much, much funnier. And a trailer being released early already doesn't bode well. I can't imagine the pressure inside the studio right now.
 
I would go see it but unfortunately the nearest theater is too far to justify it when I have more important things to do.

The only places I know that play fathom supported movies and stuff are big chain theaters, your Alamo drafthouse's, your regal cinemas, cinemark, and amc theaters. Ain't no mom and pop independent theater going to show this shit, only the big chain theaters will play this because the big 3 cinema theaters own fathom events
