It definitely doesn't help that he's weaponized his fanbase into rabidly defending him just like Viv does. Like the most banal of Twitter posts being critical of Goose attract these overly defensive people saying that we all hate him or that we "want him dead." It's just pitiful and predictable

Anyway, Glitch is probably fucked after this considering what a ticking timebomb of mental issues this guy is. Only a matter of time before he has a public crashout that causes some big studio to cut ties from the whole shebang.

TADC is just one season, he doesn’t want to continue the show anymore and they will likely either:
A: retain him for another show idea or have him go for a hit and come back for another show as outlined. They then have their reputation destroyed via his public crashouts
Or
B: He just fucks off into the wind and the company just bankrupts itself as its cashcow now gone and they aggressively over expanded.

Speaking of over expanded I feel like glitch is hindered right now for doing too much at once and with stuff thats not very popular or has a lot of staying power. And was there a specific reason they went for gameoververse instead of trying to get the pibby guy? I still dont believe md was supposed to be one season as liam called it "season 1" and it seems like they cancelled it for tadc. They should've just put md on break instead and fixed the schizo writing style in season 2. I don't think the other stuff will gather as much of a loyal and spendy fandom even as much as md unless lackadaisy somehow draws in a bunch of new fans or furries. They've fallen further into the hole after they got caught stealing meme art for a sticker and stealing somebody's old tv head character for smg4 in just the last two months...? So who knows what else could be stolen lol. Idk why they wouldnt copy fnaf or poppy if they wanted another hit. This company is really getting as retarded as vivs and doing all the same shit like design theft, too many projects at once causing long hiatuses and too short shows, and mistreatment of employees. Fml I mostly just want something with at least 14 episodes from them.

Tari simps, Belle simps, and practically all the simps of the female characters in that show. Since the Modern SMG4 fandom is very horny, they'll watch anything that features their waifus. The same goes for Sunset Paradise. Most people who still remember that series enjoy masturbating to Meggy's butt or that piece of furry bait that was supposed to be the protagonist known as Whisk.

After all, Meta Runner and Sunset Paradise never really caught on. Murder Drones and Digital Circus was where the real attention and obsession was at.

The funny thing is, if it weren't for Digital Circus, Murder Drones would have faded into obscurity like Meta Runner and Sunset Paradise. Yes, Murder Drones was always more popular than those two—YouTubers like Saberspark covered the pilot when it came out—but it wasn't that mainstream. It was only known in its corner of the internet; it didn't have the attention of something like Helluva Boss. It was only after Digital Circus that MD's popularity really started to grow. Notice how before October 2023, people rarely recognized Murder Drones outside of the SMG4 community, but after that, a lot of people online suddenly started praising Murder Drones as a masterpiece, and fan stuff started to increase. I remember the sudden amount of fanart Murder Drones got on Pixiv after Digital Circus appeared. In fact, it wasn't until last year that the Murder Drones pilot surpassed "Who Let the Chomp Out?", the most viewed SMG4 video of all time, in views, something Digital Circus achieved in its first month.

Also, notice how people consider Murder Drones part of the Indie Renaissance, but not Sunset Paradise, even though both were released in the same year. Sunset had its entire run in a single year, while Murder Drones didn't get its second episode until a year after the pilot's release, and coincidentally, the series was still releasing episodes when Digital Circus came out. Because Digital Circus is considered the start of the Indie Renaissance, this led people to treat Murder Drones as part of the Renaissance. Compare this to Meta Runner, which, despite also starting before 2023 and being Glitch's longest original series, isn't considered part of the Renaissance since it ended in 2022, a year before the term "Indie Renaissance" was coined.
 
Why are we even treating Meta Runner and Sunset Paradise with any sort of respect? No one aside from autistics who hyperfixated on SMG4's dumbass lore care about these shows.

I actually hate Sunset Paradise because of how forced it felt within the SMG4 canon (by the way, Meta Runner isn't canon) and how useless it was in retrospect for Meggy's "big" character arc in the main SMG4 show.

Glitch's model is just not sustainable. They have 4 or 5 shows at a time in the pipeline, each one with expensive VAs and animation styles and it's all held together by merch sales.
