I just can't even fathom the smell of that house. If Eric and Ricky had to buy scented air filters for the house, and Ricky suggested getting a certain scent cause it was 'stronger' than the other; the scent has to be overwhelming. Not to mention everyone is burning candles and wax melts constantly, I just can't even imagine. Poor Ricky, if I were him, I'd just be opening windows all the time to let in the fresh air. I can't imagine the horrible odor, and then the heavily artificial scented candles and air fresheners try to cover the horrible stench. Open the windows Ricky.

Ricky went on record to say he avoids confrontation as he was a witness to his own parents fighting as a child.
We joke about Rickie snapping but he will not, most he will do is bitch to Eric, that's it.
Quite frankly AL is saving them money to allow and afford them to do and buy other things they may not be able to otherwise.
They found another legbean couple to hang with and are out and about more than AL and Becky so I assume it does not bother them as much.

Re: @StrawberryDouche 's comments, I'm not suggesting she's looking for something that is like an opiate. Gabapentin is often prescribed in place of benzos. It'll make you feel nice and relaxed. There's no way she's getting her hands on enough benzos to be stoned off her tits all day/every day. She could have a benzo for anxiety and gabapentin for insomnia, which is likely enough and not dramatic, till someone starts taking enough to be stoned off their tits, which is totally how I'd be if I were in becky's situation. What does she have to look forward to? Coloring and the daily wommart run?

If someone is abusing their meds so they get to the stoned of their tits level, then those meds run out long before refill time, and people start itching for their pills. Any sort of attempt at early refill will get one red flagged then cut off.

I have been a long time and consistent Anti-Becker long before her garbage nature became undeniable with Cancer Scam 2019. However, I just don't get the med abusing junkie vibe from her. Maybe there is a medication conflict, maybe they are side effects that will resolve, or maybe they have her on something for a disorder like MS. Those drugs are brutal. Hopefully we will find out and we can stop tard fighting about it.

I generally struggle to follow Amberlyn due to the fact that her and her content are generally insufferable to sit though. As a result I forgot that Eric existed. I can't decide who's voice and mannerisms are more annoying, his or Hamber's.

She could be on a thorazine alternative like risperdal or seroquel. They can seriously fuck you up, especially when you first start taking them.

Becky is not on seroquel. Seroquel, even in smaller doses, causes considerable weight gain even if the patient isn't consistently overeating. Taking her recent visible weight loss into consideration, there's no way she's on seroquel or any other antipsychotic at this point because most of them share the weight gain side effect.

Considering everyone else in the household, and even extending that to everyone else in Amberland, Ricky is the most tolerable and least irritating of the bunch. We don't really have a lot of good ones to choose from, so I think that's why people at the very least cut Ricky a break. Yes, he may be married to a manchild with a grating voice, and cohabitates with a shrieking, smelly, obese woman and her zombie butler, but he does act like an adult, fulfills his responsibilities, has a steady job with a regular schedule, and will sometimes call Amber out on her shit. Ricky and Wasabi are the only ones with redeeming qualities here.

Re: Becky drugs. I am voting on amitriptyline. If you have a certain genetic profile, that will take you out on even the smallest doses. Docs like to give it to you if you have fibro, migraine, and other chronic conditions, but it is a tricyclic antidepressant. If Becky is on that one she may he metabolizing it poorly. Even half the smallest dose renders you zomboid in that case.

If they're saving money to get out, or if he feels legally/morally bound to stay till the end of the lease I can understand him avoiding confrontation. What's the use of fighting with her if he's actively pursuing an end goal that eliminates her from his life? Most people would prefer to ice out a narcissist than engage.

Doesn't he work in a chicken slaughterhouse all day? I can understand not wanting to confront a screaming, 600 lb headless chicken at home after spending 8 hours decapitating actual chickens.

Wasn't their (suspected) big falling out in late may or june? I'll give him till may-june to move out. If they're not out by then, he'll lose my respect, because (assuming they don't have a multiple year lease) certainly their lease would have been renewed within that year, so it'll be obvious that they signed on for another year with her and he's going through life living with her taking up the whole house (figuratively and literally), willfully living in a toxic situation. If they have a month-to-month lease, it seems like a year should be enough time to save up to get out of there.

ETA: maybe the falling out was the impetus for Eric to get on that self-improvement campaign, improving his mental health, getting his license (or learning to drive?), talking about enrolling in college. Perhaps Ricky told Eric that they had to be a two-income family in order to live on their own. But Eric's campaign seems to have fizzled out. It'll be interesting to see what happens next. Eric could easily get a customer service job from home, thus avoiding needing to drive, get an education or spark his social anxiety or whatever it is. He's probably too useless to even consider that.
