It's kind of frighening to think about how difficult it must've been for Amberlynn to get in that pool, sit down (essentially on the ground), get back up again and then get out. I wonder how many people had to help her. I don't believe Becky alone could do it.
Yesterday I went to a food festival (ironic, I know) and a woman who had to weigh at least four hundred pounds was attempting to stand up. She was able to roll over and got onto all fours. Once she got there, she stood on one knee and got stuck. It took her literally five minutes to get off the ground. It was honestly kind of hard to watch. I've never seen anyone try to do something so basic and just struggle with it, much less in front of a group of hundreds of people.
Now I think about that and add two hundred pounds. Plus the weight of wet clothes from the pool. It seriously baffles me that Amber even attempted to get into the pool at all. At least that woman had hard ground to push off of. Amber just had the squishy side of a pool. Plus Becky I guess.
