I always remember this weird cartoon Archie received in the late 90s. It's basically Archie if it were the X-Files.

These comics are just cheap sitcoms for tweens. They’re sold in digest form at supermarkets and for pages per dollar they are/were a decent deal.

No joke, but this comic was unironically good.

Yes, really. Somehow it managed to keep everyone and the plot in-character while still being extremely entertaining to read. And it's a damn shame the sequel hook of Wolverine hunting Jughead down as the most dangerous mutant alive never came to fruition.

They rebooted but then rebooted back to the classic continuity due to them running out of cash to pay big name comic writers/artists to work on the reboot books.
