There's potential, but you'll find a lot of users like Kengle who'll back down at the drop of a hat, which is why I believe checking out some of the off-branch sites on tumblr and the like would be more amusing.

Was it due to the ace "documentary" on Netflix (A)sexuality that began some of the tension between the groups? I recall watching it and being mortified what was going on. AVEN didn't try to explain their views properly at the parade, and the others there didn't want any part of them. (Or from what they showed) Most at the parade seemed to think that AVEN were either a celibacy, anti-sex/abstinence or religious group.

It makes sense to me that those in the LGBT would get offended by aces trying to butt in when they don't have hate groups. Unless... You count guys in our lovely little loveshy sub-forum.
