It was terrorism because Monis declared it such, but I do think he was just a retard. He was doing 70's style terrorism where innocents aren't simply butchered or blown up, very passé compared to ISIS who he claimed to be acting for. At the time I remember thinking he had a secret bomb and once he set it off, Cronulla Riots 2: Punchbowl Boogaloo would commence, and that I would be there, fly kicking kebabs.

This comment aged well with all the terrorist flags being flown in Australia yesterday. The politicians are shocked such a thing would happen but for some reason they separate the religion and culture from the ideology the violence comes from. Who would have thought stockpiling people from two cultures at war with each other who are known for never integrating would cause conflict? Literally nobody but the political class is shocked and even then they’re probably hamming it up for the cameras.
It’s a fascinating conflict because the shitlibs are cheering on the terrorists and the government is doing everything in its power to appease the Jews without offending the poor Muslims and their lefty pet protestors.

Given i barely watch the news, like everything i'm basing it on my personal experience. Not the shit being spewed by the media, i don't doubt there are outliers in every community. But after living and growing up in a lebo area, they are fairly mild in comparison from the past.
I'd be happy if Australia was just white again, but it's never going to happen.

Didn’t mean to sound like I was having a go, just thought it was funny given the news. I know a few good Lebs too but they tend to me the more open minded of the bunch. I think Australia’s policy of only allowing ‘educated’ people in, as flawed as that is, helps to keep the deranged ideologues out for the most part. I’d be more concerned if we let in uneducated retards like the UK does.

Based on your description, you could have witnessed space junk burning up in the atmosphere. It's unlikely but possible.
Although space junk can seem similar to a meteoroid, they have differences.
They're slower and longer to burn up:
Space junk is manmade and is the result of an orbit decaying in the upper atmosphere, rather than a meteoroid on an almost random trajectory. Because of this they're more parallel to the ground on reentry going at a slower speed. The visual result being they stay in the sky for a longer period of time and burn up for longer at lower (but still enough to burn) temperatures.
Irregular shapes:
A meteoroid can be an odd shaped rock, but in the end once it starts burning up it'll approximate a vaguely round shape. Space junk is manmade and can be any odd shape. Flat sheets, cylinders, cones etc. These things rotate and deform in odd ways in the atmosphere, meaning different parts of them burn and shine at odd intervals. Hence an irregular "pulsing" kind of light from them.
Meteoroids do this as well but since they don't last as long they usually glow brightly once then stop as the air friction slows them past the glowing point
Now this isn't definitive, there's a few things that can throw this out.
Direction of travel
All manmade objects in orbit (should) move from west to east. It's easier and cheaper to launch with the Earths rotation. If what you saw was moving east to west (with some north-south inclination) then it's almost guaranteed to not be space junk.
Space Junk usually breaks up:
Shit going into space has to be lightweight, it breaks on reentry if it's not build to survive. Look up any video of space junk reentry and it almost always breaks apart. By your description whatever you say stayed mostly intact which is rare for space junk to do.
Happened in Australia (debatable):
For something to fall to Australia form space, the orbit has to have an incline that isn't commonly seen. However this is changing as over the years as more and more shit is getting launched into space (like Starlink) that would require an inclined orbit
