Here's my hypothesis...

Chris uses his fantasies to distance himself from normal people, yet at the same time, he desperately wants contact with people. So he's waiting for someone to join in his fantasies to prove that they're his friend. Once they do that, he's desperate to keep them, so he does anything he can to give them what they want. Losing someone who participates in his fantasy world means going back to distancing everyone with it. That's why he gave these two jerks whatever they asked for.

Chris wants friends, but he has no way to tell who his real friends are, so he sets up his fantasy world figuring anyone who will come to him there must be like the prince coming to wake up Sleeping Beauty.

What Chris REALLY needs is normal socialization. He isn't going to get that from people on the internet and he isn't going to get that at 14 Branchland Court. He needs a group home with supervision.

The way I see it, he still has the mentality and imagination of a little kid and little kids say stuff like that all the time just to say it. It's like that with Chris, but raised to the power of autism.

Chris' narcissism has made him believe the world was meant for him. In his mind, he has always been deserving of the best life has to offer. He believed since his childhood that someday everything would fall into place and he would be the rich, famous, attractive father he's always dreamt of being.

He might have given up on the specifics of his original dream, but the expectation for life to make him great is still there. And the way he is currently fulfilling this expectation is by inventing parallel worlds in which he can gaze at his embellished reflection.

In Chris' mind, he has to believe in the alternate universes he made up. Because the only alternative would be to wake from his state of denial, actually analyze and scrutinize himself, the advice people give him, his current situation, the way the world works, and realize the gargantuan, ever-expanding gap that exists between the vision of his ideal self and what he is right now, and the amount of work required to bridge that gap.

And that would probably be too much for him to take.

I may be 100% wrong here and he might just have gone genuinely crazy already, just seems more of a denial than an insanity thing to me.
 
I'm overwhelmed with all emotions leaving me feeling empty and confused. Finally I know what it is to be Chris and I don't like it one bit.
 
Jesus fuck, this shit is hard to read through. Just all of what Chris, and possibly Joshua and Stephen at some points, believed in all of this convoluted shit show of a fictional land Chris created. Yeah, fuck those two guys, they were doing much worse to Chris than what Blue Spike did originally.

And to put this to bed right now, I don't know what fucking moron is spreading this lie: there are no trolls who have an in with Chris. Wise and Boyd are totally and completely excised.

Chris was legitimately freaked out by them. They convinced him they could read his mind so to never lie to them and also try and scare Chris into never revealing their existence.

Ok. At this point, with Chris threatening suicide (like Barb used to when Chris wouldn't listen to her), Chris needs some serious psychological help, especially in getting him to understand that this shit is not real, nor anyone in his Sonichu "species". Chris needs either a psychologist and a group home for when Barb dies so he doesn't end up killing himself over something that's not real.

You've got your cause and effect backwards.

Trolling displaces Chris' IRL socialization. When you take the trolling away, Chris gets bored and goes outside and seeks IRL socialization, somewhat successfully, although once in awhile (every few years or so), he might get banned from one of his hangouts. (He maintains multiple hangouts. Like the card store and Impulse.)

The cycle has happened at least twice where trolling ceases, Chris goes outside and makes friends (friends we don't hear about for years, because without trolling, there is no one to post about it online). And then when the trolling starts up again, Chris has two sets of friends: IRL and trolls. The trolls take up a bunch of his time, including any time that he would've allocated for his real friends.

Then he doesn't call his IRL friends for awhile. He can't budget his time away from internet friends. Even if he believes they're still good people (read: not trolls), a normal person would generally make time to socialize IRL as well. Chris can't really maintain that balance.

So right now, since Wise and Boyd have been kicked out of Chris' head, Chris has been resuming meeting his friends for lunch or hanging out at their houses, things like that.

Chris' short term loneliness is because he gets kicked out of game stores every few years. But overall he finds new haunts and patches things over. Chris' long term loneliness is a consequence of trolls sucking up his time and acting as a replacement for IRL socialization.

Edit: Well, and Chris isn't necessarily a social butterfly. But he's got people's phone numbers. He hangs out a few of times a month. He goes to events. He's happy with his level of socialization in life, and if he wants to increase it, he's definitely got the knowledge and tools to increase it.

He's in the driver's seat as long as he can avoid dipshits on the internet.
 
Instead of trying to get these two tards prosecuted Chris should be institutionalized. These logs should be more than enough to convince a doctor that he needs serious help and has little to no grip on reality. It really is only a matter of time before they get him to do something dangerous

All I can think of is the Amanda Todd suicide, just without the child porn and more autism.

If Chris was more marketable as a victim, the situation would probably be easier to push to the average non-Internet savvy.
