Buying something from Chris is the same as buying something from someone, you may disagree with the value of that something, but that doesn't mean he gave Chris money for free.

Value is always seen from the customer's perspective, I know I sold items I completely despise for values I wouldn't ever buy them for, but that's the nature of business overall, demand and value are dictated by the customer.

Chris is someone who surprisingly understands this on a primal, almost-animal level, he lowers the value of items based on how quick it moves (or not), if he was less gullible and more of a people person, he would've been the ideal worker at say, a junkyard or a pawnshop.

It took him a while to get there. He was overpricing everything initially until people started actually buying them at those prices.

Then again, I guess that means it's rather other people, who took a while to get there.

Anybody who manages to sell literal garbage for x10 the price is someone I respect as a salesman, anyone.

Also, this eBay thing is a good and very underappreciated vein of content, it gave us "Tealfully yours" and the incredibly surreal "Buy my eBay" stream, in which Chris banged on the table and screamed his heart out on stream for over 40 minutes without ever giving out his eBay profile. :story:

Knowing the internet's motto is basically, "Hold my beer and watch this," I shudder to think what a troll might do to surpass Wise and Boyd. I always thought the bluespike saga was the worst of chris chan trolling until this came along and blew it out of the water

When the first details of the Idea Guy Saga came out initially, I thought it was kind of funny with Toon CWCville was invaded by Putin-Pmurt Russia Nazis, the ridiculous Punchy Sonichu riots and the revelations that the characters weren't want Chris thought they were ( Angelica a Satanist, Blake as a ISIS member). I genuinely thought the saga had some potential to bring joy unseen since Asperchu.

Boy was I wrong. How bored, sadistic and autistic are these two? Reading this chat makes me want to get mad on the internet so fucking much. Idea guy has become gay, stupid, abusive and quite frankly boring. LARPing as anime girl goddesses who like to abuse people? This is the kind of shit 12 year old gay boys in the closet do. These are two grown ass men? And for over 9 hours per discord? Even Chris takes a fucking break and goes and does something for an hour while these guys sit there and wait for him to respond. How can two faggots have all this spare time and not do anything funny?

They created the shittiest saga in Chris-Chan history and everyone is going to remember them as being worse than BlueSpike. They couldn't even stop jacking off to the idea of being an anime girl from SAO for 5 seconds to actually produce interesting content.

Value to Chris is about how much money he needs and how soon he needs it. That is why his "negotiable" prices drop like a rock. "$50 for a video... or $10, but no less!" Chris has no business plan or accounting because he is an idiot who cannot understand money. He never has it because every dime in immediately is spent. Money has no value to him.

Internet trolls, haters and cyberbullies are not the big threat. Someone who pretends to care but wants to exploit Chris, like an evil version of "Rocky", will take over Chris' life, steal his money, and maybe even get life insurance on him before killing him. Chris always has problems and wants easy answers. Someone who comes in at one of his frequent times of need would be able to get the keys to the kingdom. That is the real threat out there. Forget kids who want a Nintendo. Chris is an easy target. he is dumb, but has pretty reliable source of income. It is limited income; however, people have killed for much less. If Barb and Chris get can the house in order, that is another asset available when they kill Chris. Someone could move in on him after Barb dies and steal him money saying they are paying the bill for him. Sometime later Chris is evicted because home is foreclosed due to nonpayment.

At this point i won't even be suprised if someone tricked him into ritualy killing himself to be with his OCs forever, even more so after his mother dies and the shitshow of the eviction starts.
