I used to like indie breweries when they were trying to stay competitive with mass produced shit like 5+ years ago, and only had a few dollars higher priced. But man a six pack for 19 bucks now is really grating. Fucking hipster brewies coming in thinking their stuff is worth half the price of a decent bottle of hard alcohol is bullshit.

Still love this stuff though. You can tell this is a real crafted beer, not like some of the other lame IPA or Porters out there with fake flavors added.

Fuck I used to see so much good Ballast Point in Florida before they they were absorbed, now fucking nothing

British breweries love jumping onto events, so the Jubilee is going to receive a couple of offerings.

Got St Peter's now. It's not too bad. Just seems to be a standard ale with a dob of caramel. Joey Holt's is apparently releasing one too but I also would like to see if their Cherry Mild is any good too.

Either way, if I was a smart brewer I would have waited for the results of the Jubilee pudding contest and slapped together a beer based on that.

Looking at the winner it could probably work. Lemon and amaretti flavours? Interesting to say the least.

Got a nice pile of Dog Fish Head 120 min IPAs.. rest I'll age, but lordy one's got me spinning. Honestly local pub happened to have some and I stocked up. I don't mean to brag but at 10 a bottle it was a STEAL, last time (pre coof) a pour 8oz was 20.

For those who don't know it's a very low pressed super high ABV IPA and ages so well.

Sam Adams discontinued the Noble Pils. I'm furious.

Fuck IPbAbies. You ruin everything.
Sam Adams capitulated a long time ago lol, the most I hope for these days is a decent winter-variety pack. Also who are the faggots who decided to open a special taproom in fucking Ohio. God I wish every brewery who sold out would have died during shutdowns

Morrison's are having a Father's Day Sale with some pretty decent beers going for 99p a bottle.

Needless to say I'm drinking well this week.

In light of the Stone buyout today:
Those faggots were always hop-sucking tryhard soys and they deserve everything they get

I'm not much of a beer drinker, but I think it's cool that there are so many different options out there. I like the idea of a Jubilee-themed beer, and I'm curious to try the Cherry Mild. It sounds like a fun way to celebrate the event!

It's at least good for novelty. I ended up drinking Robbie's offering all weekend as that was actually delicious

I'm glad you enjoyed Robbie's drink! I think it's great that you were able to find something delicious to drink all weekend long. It definitely sounds like a great idea to have a designated driver or someone who can help keep an eye on your alcohol consumption if you plan on drinking heavily.

Yeah thats wack.
I'm in one of my only few month old 120 min IPAs by Dogfish head and well I'm shit posting so it works.

Besides just being tired of the taste, I've noticed those intensely hoppy American microbrews give me a terrible headache nowadays, I have mostly been drinking pilseners and assorted belgian beers these days.

Tonight I had Kozel pilsener. It's not bad but not super memorable. It's pretty cheap though and it's nice as something to have a glass of at dinner.

That's because most of, if not all the "hoppy" microbrews are insanely low-quality because they're just hops shoved in a cup and pushed out to appease the IPbAbies
