Not many Christmas beers in the UK at the mo. I've only found 3.

Rosey Nosey is the best, it's a subtle kind of Christmas flavour behind an ale.
White Christmas just tastes like you've put an orange in a blonde lager.
The Northern Monk one isn't bad, but it's just too sweet, even for a porter.

I like most variety of beers but I'm usually drink Kolsch, Pilsner or Lagers because I like being able to have more than two without feeling full or drunk.

I really like Victoria, that's a good one in the summertime.

I've tried a few of those christmas style ales, the Britbong ones and some craftbreweries, always found them absolutely disgusting after a few sips, too cloying, might be better suited paired with food than quaffing in a session?

May as well just get a good Belgian Quad.

My favorites so far:

Warsteiner Premium for light, Dreher Bak for dark, Staropramen for unfiltered, Dreher for red, Erdinger for wheat.

thats a nice lighter, but i wouldnt use it to open bottles, dont want scratches.
lol yea can make them into that but said round was given to me by a friend and literally it was shot at ISIS so kinda based.

Makarovs are also great bottle openers. Yes Russia made a gun that opens beer well. Because, well... why not?

I spent a little more than I wanted to but I just HAD to have, Merry Monkey, by victory Golden monkey is yummy AF and hits like train and I would put on my top 5 Sour monkey but a christmas one? SOLD. I will report back.... or if it's that good, you'll get a 7 page rant on how much I hate black people women and why Darth Vader is cool and how I'd like to build a sail boat.

If I do that, assume it's a 10/10 beer.

Jokes aside, Monkey series by Victory brewing is a triple, and very smooth with a 9.x ABV while being quite reasonable priced. I in my area can cop a 19 oz monkey for 3.50. They are very nice, and I'm super amped to try the Xmas flavor while, I'm not a huge seasonal guy I do really oddly like Xmas spice done well and so far almost all brewers have let me down. Even though most have a real high ABV so even if the beer was boring, I didn't care since the room spun.

Nattie Ice is pretty okay.
also regarding Victoria, I tried a 12 pack a while back when they were sponsoring lucha shit, seemed okay "better than supercheap" beer but unremarkable, but second to muh Beer-fu Corona Familiar Fat Bottle

Currently drinking a tinny of 'Hot Fuzz'. A Raspberry Cream Doughnut Pale Ale.

It's actually pretty accurate to the taste of a doughnut.

Estrella Damm has become my favourite lager. Light, crisp, tasty; I could drink it all day.

Sipping on a Hoegaarden currently. Have a small cellar stocked for the winter - some Sam Adams Winter mix pack, Espresso Stout, Founders Velvet Rush, Leffe Brown, and some Ommegang Solera. Comfy.
I'm not a big beer person but I love hoegaarden and blue moon and other white/wheat beers. Also lambics

I decided on a lark to try Budweiser because it was cheap and you can get a lot of it.

I always assumed it must be complete garbage but imagine my surprise that... I like it? I like it a lot actually.

What am I missing? Granted it's not very strong alcohol wise, but it tastes good, I was assuming it had to taste bad, it's a perfectly fine beer to just sip on.

Now I'm not saying there's anything wrong with stronger tasting beers or whatever, I'm just saying Budweiser is not bad, does it have a negative reputation because it's simply such a massive brand? Seems worth it given the price.

I don't like it because it's like sex in a canoe.

The marketing department at AB also have delusions of grandeur.

It's because beer spergs are the most pretentious twats to exist. Budweiser is a good 'summer beer'. When you'll be sweating it out as fast as you take it in. Mowing the lawn? Working on a car? A lager is light enough so you won't feel like throwing up and also refreshing.

Though I prefer other lagers to it, it's got its place.
