That sounds terrible enough for me to want to try it in an effort to understand why they thought it was a good idea

Budweiser Discovery Reserve was cheap so I figured I'd try it. Actually not too bad of an American pisswater beer.
It's allegedly based on the Budweiser recipe circa the Apollo 11 mission or something. It's an inoffensive High Life/PBR/Cheap Shit ish thing, seems more enjoyable than my dim memories of the last time I tried modern Bud.

Summertime, so the only logical thing to be drinking as you sit near the grill turning sausages with a pair tongs is an ice cold lager.

I've actually been drinking Baltika 3 lately which most people consider barely better than piss water, but it suits me fine.

i worked behind a few bars back in the day. it always tickled me that the cheapest lager on tap that is usually even specialler on happy hour is called "the cooking lager". you get daily drinkers who hop from happy hour to happy hour for those sweeeeeet cheap daytime pints. usually Fosters.

why raise prices at all? everybody is fine if you charge 1,50 for a lager.

I just finished polishing off a six pack this morning after a bender last night, and didn't think much of it. I can't tell if the Jim Beam one is better.

Just found out about the 75 Dollar Beer they're serving at Star Wars Galaxy's Edge.

It's nothing fancy you're getting stuff like Sierra Nevada IPA or a Belgian red ale. But yeah 75 bucks.

I am a fan of beer. I enjoy all types of beer, really. My favorite type has to be Belgian style, though.

My two favorite beers of all time are Unibroue's "Don de Dieu" and Delirium "Tremens." They are super strong imports, but man oh man are they delicious.

I typically hate Budweiser ... But Discovery Reserve is pretty good.

However, last Summer, they did the Freedom Reserve, which was inspired by George Washington's recipe. I LOVED it, and now they don't make it anymore.

Yes, Stella and Becks are the big european brands of anheuser-busch Inbev SA/NV
they come from giant factorys and are the beers you bring to a party with people you dont realy know. they are okay beer and dont let you look cheap.
