Bird update.

Mama is back at it, and has some new eggs she's nesting on.

I've had to separate baby, so he is in his own cage now and since he couldn't live alone, I got him a companion. There was a good find on the web of someone who had a single looking for a new companion so I swooped in and got it. Overpaid, but birds shouldn't be solitary.

The chick is a boy, so he's going through his awkward teenager phase as the male plumage comes in.
 
had to revive this threat because i saw something sad yesterday. a poor Pidgeon was lying on the ground with his wings out and refused to fly away even if people got too close to him. his head was turned around all weirdly and he looked sick or hurt. Don't know exactly what was wrong with him, i thought a first it was a broken neck but he still flapped his wings a little, had the neck been broken he wouldn't be able to move. Poor birb wished i could have been able to help, made me think of the Pidgeon man from hey Arnold
