The comic is honestly mid, people only think it's the worst thing ever because some YouTube troon made a video about how it was bad cause misogyny and it went ultra mega viral and got like 15 million views.
I'm assuming your referring to this shitty video by PointlessHub.
I don't think he's a troon, but he is a boring sloptuber fag who complained about how edgy and depraved the comic was (even though the show is just as awful in thst aspect). Although it seems even he regrets the video now.

I like that guy. He got me to watch Planet of the Apes. Both the original movie and the Caesar trilogy.

but the real question is this: is the boys series finale better or worse than the stranger things finale

Oh fuck that is a good comparison. Stranger Things finale was so hilariously bad that the fans had to come up with a whole ass conspiracy theory about a secret episode to cope with how shit it is. The Boys was doomed once Kripke's thirst for getting Eiffel Tower'd by Trump and Musk became too strong.

I saw a meme going around that asked a similar puzzler: which is the most egregious example of a creator destroying their creation because 'TeH cHuDs' liked it? The choices were Arthur Fleck (Joker) or Homelander. I'd say Joker since you had everyone (including the actor) going into the sequel to decimate everything that came before.

At least Starr is a professional and fought to keep HL from going full Trump. Dude still gave 100% and did the best he could to turn chicken shit into chicken salad despite Kripke's writing.

They’re making a TV series based off Crossed. I have no fucking idea how they’re going to make that fit for TV short of toning it down to The Crazies levels of violence.
hahaha i am NOT fucking watching that, what the fuck? That is fucking disgusting. Hope you're ready for 30 different clips of gay rape gangbang scenes.

Another idea I just had for the ending was this.

Homelander dies without begging to eat shit or anything like that and then Vought shows up and thanks Butcher and Hughie for saving the country from the clearly insane Homelander and starts talking about how he will make things right. Butcher and Hughie look at Vought with disgust and Butcher orders Hughie out of the room.

Vought then starts using corporate speak to try and weasel his way out of responsibility but Butcher has had it, he tells Vought that everything that happened was his doing and that Homelander was only a monster because that is what Vought made him, Vought says mistakes were made but he will do better next time. Butcher refuses to have any of that and reveals that he has had a bomb with a deadman's switch strapped to himself the whole time, just in case Homelander got the upper hand in the battle, Butcher then says this has to end now.

Vought is then the one who begs for his life, he offers to put Butcher in charge of a new Seven, give him control of the company, anything but Butcher just shakes his head and then detonates that bomb, killing both him and Vought.

What do you think?
