Everything they do is supposed to make you hate Homelander. But the people behind this shitshow are unironically evil, so a villain to them is a hero to everyone else. Was I supposed to hate Homelander in this?
We’re going to watch the next series, watch as they try to make us think Homelander is evil, and walk away thinking “maybe the government should be putting its enemies into camps.”Everything they do is supposed to make you hate Homelander. But the people behind this shitshow are unironically evil, so a villain to them is a hero to everyone else.
This reminds me yet again, why if you are going to go completely off the rails as far as ignoring the source material, have some fucking GOOD ideas that expand and explore it instead of throwing a tantrum that your political party didn't win the White House. But the existence of Compound V being public makes no sense at all. Every single person on Earth and every government would literally descend on Vought's labs and facilities looking for a dose to inject themselves. People break into stores to steal televisions or sneakers. But not a serum that turns you into a god? The world building on this show, and most of the comics, is atrocious.
Butcher would be the greatest character in this show for simply doing that, but I bet he'd kill Hughie and Starlight kills him.Assuming they stick with Butcher as the final boss purely for a twist and to "subvert" everyone calling them out on trying to make Homelander the final boss out of TDS, I can see Butcher murdering Starlight to set up Butcher as beyond the pale evil in the final episodes. But that gives them too much fucking credit.
Aren’t those the only two who aren’t complete assholes?Butcher would be the greatest character in this show for simply doing that, but I bet he'd kill Hughie and Starlight kills him.
Like I am strongly confident Starlight and Ryan are going to survive the series
Starlight is a total piece of shit. Season 4 nuked her character beyond repair with the Firecracker retcons and victim-blaming Hughie for getting bed tricked. But the decay was already setting in when she blackmailed a former friend to steal some V, killed a guy to take his car, and blasted Hughie (literally) for trying to not be useless.Aren’t those the only two who aren’t complete assholes?
I mean among the main group, only Starlight and Butcher are the biggest douchebags. Except Butcher is intentionally meant to be seen as a jerk while Starlight is meant to be seen as a moral paragon given how she's the soapbox for Kripke's political opinions.Aren’t those the only two who aren’t complete assholes?
Considered by many shitlibs, maybe. It’s considered by many that the Babylon Bee is a lame version of The Onion in it's "golden age"
...wait, really?I've noticed a subtle metaphor during the last season, you have to pay close attention to catch it. I think Homelander is supposed to be a reference to US President Donald J. Trump. Blink and you'll miss it.
You may agree with Babylon Bees politics but it just isn't funny. It's Facebook boomer meme level humor.Considered by many shitlibs, maybe.
It's political satire for guys who buy Dude Wipes and Black Rifle Coffee Company products, for people who thought the Daily Wire produced animated sitcom was hilarious. You may agree with Babylon Bees politics but it just isn't funny. It's Facebook boomer meme level humor.
How will they handle black magneto's actor dying?Season 2 of Gen V is coming in September
