If I am required to watch Gen V to watch the final season of The Boys, I’m not gonna bother.
Oh you'll certainly not be watching it then bc the episode ends up with the guy (Godolkin) they've been building up all season just dying and he is ultimately irrelevant and was mainly used as a plot device.

Then, at the end of the episode the Gen V "main cast" runs away to team up with Twilight and A-Train is inserted as a reddit-marvel moment to be on her side now (instead of being aligned somewhat at the end of season 4).

Not really sure how to feel about Season 2 of Gen V. It wasn't terrible, but there weren't as many memorable moments as there were in the first season. It was very much setup for the final season of The Boys, for better or worse.

"Cipher" was the best part of the new stuff, Emma the best part of the old.

That was absolute shite, the acting even for a SH show is so terrible. All the main characters are so unlikable. In the last episode, for some reason, the growing girl entered every scene running and slightly out of breath. I hate this show. Sage looks like a frog.

Guess what Kripke is teasing for the next season.

Damn is this show STILL going?
Same thought, it's just a jewish humiliation speedrun and you must be fucking retarded and mentaly cucked for still wanting to keep up with it.
Must be some chatbots, there is no way people like this still exists.

Gen V any good?
Take the worst capeshit and superhero stories ever written. Then add curse words, male nudity, and extreme levels of gore. Throw in some Trump and U.S. political messages. And you have 95% of the content of The Boys and Gen V. But Gen V is no longer a spinoff. It's required viewing for The Boys because it ties directly into the most important storylines from the main show. It's basically The Boys season 4.5 instead of an optional viewing.
By the end of the series Kripke will have accidentally convinced the audience that fascism is great and gets shit done.
We're already there. Where the audience are now rooting for characters like Homelander, Butcher, or Shetty to kill everyone. Or how people root for the Empire in Star Wars. Or the Legion in the Fallout franchise. Or for Eren to genocide everyone in Attack on Titan. Or people rooting for Tony Soprano to kill Vito for being a homosexual. Or rooting for Vic Mackey to kill more drug dealers. Or Boyd Crowder to escape into freedom.

These writers make the good guys these obnoxious DEI mutant faggots so everyone just hates them. And they end up needing to root for someone. So they just root for the bad guy characters or the villains.

Boyd Crowder to escape into freedom.
Of course, but that's because he's a great character (the show is "Justified"), and at least in my opinion, has nothing to do with the show declining in quality, or turning the protagonist into a moralfagging insert. Now the reboot show was not as good at all but even that could have been a lot worse.

Gen V season 2 just felt like a mess. All the set up of season 1 only for it to go in an entirely different direction. It felt like this season just existed to make a new villain for the main show, but then they killed him off? And it ended with a ultracrimge #resist thing lol. The pastiches and mockery of ameripol has just gotten so fucking bad. We've gone from winks and nods while still doing their own thing to just "starlighters are le liberals and homeland fans are le trumpers" with no further depth.

I dont know why I keep watching this series. The first 2 seasons hit it out of the park and now it's falling down the stairs as Amazon scrambles to make this their own MCU. Can't wait for the obvious conclusion to the series where Butcher "goes too far" and the main gang has to find blood bender girl from the spin off team to kill Butcher in a 2 minute cameo. The moral of the story being that you should #resist but not actually do anything that'll help achieve your goals because violence... Bad!

The Boys is getting a prequel about Vought starring Soldier Boy and Stormfront. Godolkin will be in it. And another new character in that prequel will also debut in season five of The Boys. So Godolkin is likely going to be featured again and getting his entire backstory shown. So they basically saved half of his story for another show.

There won't be one with season five of The Boys. Gen V will likely get a third season to continue the story. Then there is The Boys: Mexico which also might take place after the fifth season is over. And they might all tie into the main series and be required viewing.

I like how these drooling morons still half-heartedly pretend like the political commentary in this show is even remotely hidden or subtle for the sake of plausible deniability and "Oh if you feel like it's aimed at you then you're a fascist lel xd" when they literally had Homelander directly reenacting Trump publicity photos in real-time, like with the McDonalds photoshoot.

You can't directly say that your political opponents are fascists with the thinnest tissue-paper allegory on top then act like them saying "wtf no I'm not" is an admission of guilt when you're doing everything short of giving Homelander a bad wig and small hands. If you genuinely think that's enough to act like it's not direct political commentary then you're too stupid to be allowed to vote.

What's even worse is then those same people spin around and use the opposite rhetoric where if you're right wing and like the show, or say it mocks both sides and isn't propaganda, then you're just a dumb chud who's too stupid to see that it's making fun of you, despite these two narratives outright contradicting each other.
