The Boys - An Amazon Prime adaptation of the Ennis comic series

I've seen some fans theorising that Homelander will die several eps before the end and then it'll be Butcher vs The Boys, but I think that'd leave those final eps feeling like they have a giant hole. Butcher is the 2nd best character for me, but I can't deny my joy in the show will plummet hugely if HL dies before the end.

Honestly if the first episode started with Homelander stepping out of a tanning bed in the Oval Office with his skin Dorito orange right before he gets splattered by parasite Butcher I wouldn't be surprised. I'd be disappointed, but not surprised.

The show has eight episodes and the showrunner came out and said it's low budget again. Expect A-Train and maybe Firecracker to die early. Then all of the new superheroes will be introduced only to die within the same few episodes. This will get us to episode six or seven. You kill Homelander in six or seven with a cameo from Stormfront. Then Butcher kills Soldier Boy and some of the Boys. Episode eight are Ryan, Starlight, and Hughie hunting down and killing Butcher.

Butcher will likely be mercy killed to make it different from the comics. In the comics he flat out refuses to stop killing superheroes until they are all wiped out. This includes his own teammates. Finally he can't bring himself to kill Hughie so lets Hughie kill him instead. There's no way the show goes this route. So they'll have Butcher's tumor take his mind over and cause him to lose it completely so he's not actually a bad person. Just an infected monster whose tumor is controlling him and he needs to be mercy killed. This preserves his character for the reddit faggots who still want to purchase his funkopops.
 
Main messages of the show:
CIA is cool.
CIA needs to make killer viruses to protect us.
Smoking, drugs and drinking are cool (always hear the drink/smoke very loud and clear.)
Black women are the smartest people on earth.
Patriotism/nationalism/religion is fake and gay. What is really cool is a globalist atheist hedonist rainbow gang.

Damn this show for being so well made. I can't stop letting them barrage me with all this jewish nonsense.

Rumor went around a few weeks ago that her original voice was with a thick accent. And they had her dub in every single line when the producers didn't like it. So the sound mix for her voice makes it seem like she's talking from another room away from the rest of the characters. Because all of her spoken lines are from her in a recording booth and the person who did the mixing was incompetent.

In the second episode she says "my vagina is tingly and damp". It sounds worse than an 80s Kung Fu movie dub. I'll get a clip of it because that could turn into a meme it's so terrible and careless.
 
I really don't like the LGBTranny coded shit, no wonder the series took a nosedive.

I thought something sounded off but I couldn't put my finger on it.
 
Those first 2 episodes were not very good and the show looks cheap as fuck now for some reason (i'm guessing the budget got blown on CGI for the finale).

Erin Moriarty looks like a literal ghoul and most of her dialogue is barely understandable because of how badly she's fucked herself up. She sounds like she's talking with cotton-balls in her mouth.

Kimiko turning into a completely different character who speaks like a teenager is fucking retarded.
 
Curious to see what the next big depraved thing the show will do next, or how badly they'll screw everything up this time. Shame the guy playing Soldier Boy is stuck in such a crappy show, hope he gets better.

Unironically I think her lines were written by AI. I preferred it when she mute and is it just me or does it sound like she was dubbed over? Her voice sounds totally off.
 
Sage is continuing to swing between "I always expect Homelander to act like a short sighted idiot" and "What? Homelander is acting like a short sighted idiot?!"

We're still joking about Hughie getting sexually assaulted by Techknight.

The heroes walk into a trap they know is a trap with no plan or information other than 'Let's hope the plot continues to nerf Homelander and the other supes'

I don't understand why it's being treated like Annie abandoned Hughie and co. Like, she was only going to be able to hold some people to fly out and come back, it wasn't like she could have just gotten everyone and only chose to get Frenchie and Kimiko.

MM and Annie have come around to Butcher's way offscreen. I get that Homelander's regime could change their view on dirtier methods, but it's weird to not see the development of the show's biggest grandstanding asshats without a plan into 'Maybe the ends do justify the means after all'. I'm assuming their arc is going to be the plot handing them a morally easier solution so they can remind themselves that they don't need to make any moral compromises after all.

The Crow girl is funny because they play it like 'Aw, MM did a good thing', but literally the only thing stopping MM from leaving her to die with her teammates was that she cried.
