The Boys - An Amazon Prime adaptation of the Ennis comic series

Am I the only one thinking/hoping that the low budget and overall shoddiness of this season is a sign that Amazon is losing faith in the series and those spinoffs might get quietly canceled?
 
Is the comic as gay as the show? There are a lot of cocks in this show and I mean a fucking lot.

I'm sure if you asked Seth Rogan he'd take a bong hit and claim it was "ironic" or for "comedy" but this is gay porn levels of gratuitous male nudity.

I mean, it's ugly. And I heard Homelander fucks Soldier Boy who isn't his dad in there later on.

The best Boys content will always be the first season of the show when it was written by someone who wanted to actually tell a story instead of seeing what ridiculous disgusting faggot nonsense they could show the goyim.
 
I already saw the leaks, but part of me is hoping the ending is the world getting nuked (maybe he wins at the cost of ending the world, maybe he loses and crashes out causing the world, you could write it any way) and Homelander floating in space staring at the ruins of civilization, completely alone. It is basically the Homelander show at this point so it'd be fitting for him to be the final shot.

The show and Comic are almost equally as bad (bar season 1, which was the only good thing to come out of this franchise), but in very different ways.

The show is an extreme form of aggressive globohomo propaganda fueled by untalented Jewish nepotism with a side of seething hatred for right wingers. While the comic is Garth Ennis's barely disguised hatred of superhero comics, that ultimately leads to him writing incoherent nonsense to satiate his hate boner for the genre.

Neither are enjoyable to engage with.

Just open a magic portal and let him go to Invincible. Then the only thing of value left in this show can go on to "hasn't gone as full retard as the Boy's" pastures.

The comic was enjoyable when it came out originally because it was a timely subversion of the superhero genre.

I recently went back and read the whole thing and it is fairly edgelordy and honestly a bit shit overall by todays standards. As subtle as a sledge hammer and the nudity/violence feels like something a 14 year old boy would dream up.

There's Homelander being gay lovers with Soldier Boy.
There's a group of teen boys jerking each other off.
There's a parody of professor X that diddles supe kids, mostly boys.
There's Noir ass raping Hughie.
That's just at the top of my head.

Anyway, the comic is shockslop. It uses grotesque and shocking imagery to get a rise out of you, since the storytelling is rather poor and characters are very shallow.

I'm sure you can find it on torrents. Give it a go, make your own opinion.

It's subverting shit without really understanding what it's trying to subvert, tbh.

Superman, but violent.

Professor X, but a pedophile.

Captain America, but not actually a soldier.

It doesn't play with conventions or expectations, just makes everyone pointlessly violent and sexual for reasons that have little to do with the source material. In that respect the show is faithful, I suppose.
 
Are there any spoilers about The Deep? The actor has been humiliated so much in this show I don't even care he's just a jewish mascot, I want them to give him a pity good ending. Dude had a storyline going in earlier seasons before becoming full parody and then becoming an Andrew Tate vessel, even if the only consistent thing about him was his California girl personality. Fucking nigger can live the rest of his days hiding in the ocean, fucking dolphins.
