I admit, the fanbase and the creators being so insufferably smug about their worldview being shown through the show, and how they treat those that differ in opinion from what the show says, is another reason why I really, really want this show to just end already.

The less I have to see and hear from all three (the show, the creators, and the fanbase) constantly shilling their views on politics and the like, the better.

The newest season has a concentration camp called "Freedom Camp 47"

This show could literally win an award for the least subtle propaganda of all time.

Unless you're the kind of soy that injects reddit directly into your veins I can't see what appeal it would hold for you.
 
Was it really worth sacrificing the comic's storyline (which is much more coherent) just to continue with this garbage fanfic?

I saw news that a movie is already in the works. The director will be the same one who directed "The Sadness," a Taiwanese film clearly inspired by Crossed. Amazon is crap, and it's a good thing they're not going anywhere near Crossed.

Every single interview with the showrunner so far has been him downplaying the finale. Telling fans to lower expectations for the budget, conflict, and overall scale of the last season of the show. And almost issuing a warning to anyone anticipating something great or grand. But this show has all of its plot constantly leaked anyways so it's more like damage control than anything preemptive.

It's extremely edgy if anything which is on par for its writer. It's also extremely juvenile. I read it when I was younger and liked it because edgy late teens loser gotta like edgy things and I still have a fondness for it but I will 100% tell you it's very in your face with its edge and sometimes childish humor.

Something something a midget woman got her plane blown up because someone planted a bomb in her giant dildo. Something something Butcher commands his dog to rape a little Yorkie. Something something the Russian hero with a giant penis.

Also no redemption for A-Train who also isn't black.

Though the actual plot is very coherent and there's actually payoff with Black Noir.

Yes, Homelander does bang Soldier Boy though I get the sense that it's not romantic but more power abuse since, from what I remember, Soldier Boy only did it so he could be part of the Seven (which doesn't happen) and Homelander is a douche who likes to hold that power over someone.

There is no gay sex scenes though.

It should be mentioned it also takes place at some resort for supes where they all go to act like hedonistic animals

Jesus, I'm almost curious to see how much of a fucking trainwreck the finale is gonna be even though I tuned out of the show after season 3.

The main cast never feel like they're ever in any danger. The writers clearly want to say something about religion but the writers are all obviously midwit stoners (and that's probably being generous) so all you really get is, "bro, if you think about it... God is like... a dick... lmao." Oh, and the vampire dude starts out interesting and entertaining but then quickly devolves into being a whiny cuck who does little more than pout that the black chick won't fuck him. Overall it's just really boring and meandering.

It was 100% that, Homelander only fucks as a method of domination/humiliation IIRC. Its very far from what modern day faggots would call "accurate representation", it's just another element of Homelander's power induced depravity. All it shows is them in bed afterwards, Soldier Boy curled up in shame and Homelander saying that  maybe he does have what it takes to join the Seven. It's funny when anti woke people complain about it because they don't realise it wasn't meant to be good representation. It's homophobic if anything.
