I get the director intensely despises Trump, but adding in the bit where Homelander randomly kills Not-Musk for no benefit to the plot, it reeks of the impotent seethe of a powerless man. Does Kirpke truly think he's some sort of genius for deliberately making the finale a steaming pile of shit?
