Yeah he definitely should've lobbed that onto the cringe VTuber reddits and Xitter randoms. There were definitely better options instead of using "half the community."

Agreed. Especially since it was a minority of people (xitter fags in particular) who were bitching about him. Now this just casts a wider net which WILL get people autistically angry at this unfunny retard

I like him more cause he seems somewhat funny unlike the Vtubers who always try to skim the line between offensive and wholesome while also being overtly sexual.

He got my vote when he said faggot in Tarkov.

>FAGGO-uh I mean uh f-f-fireman haha yeah please don't cancel me on bluesky

The virgin peanut vs the chad kson.

There used to be a lot more goofy ones like this before californians got involved.
It sucks seeing ones that even when they do have an anime avatar but it's something unique, the second they get the money for a popular artist they get some generic looking anime slop that looks like it came off a conveyor belt. I'll take a Burnt Peanut any day over "guys I hired the same artist as that other popular anime vtuber".

Noticed this even with people that don't actively aim to make it generic anime coneyor belt stuff but get a deal with a streamer network where they can keep their username and account they end up always switching to a more "in that one specific style everyone uses" sort of avatar as their default. There's a number of really small time people that livestream vidya I've watched or interacted with that this has happened to, and I've seen people making jokes about it including the people it's happened with. Also noticed usually the rigging is a bit stiffer and more jank on those "more expensive models" compared to shit the people just make on their own prior to that, it's a genuinely odd phenomenon.

From what I heard from one of the ones I watch there's a "breaking in" period where you kinda have to just fuck with the setting to make it work for you.
In this she goes over the changes she made to make the model look more lively & less stiff even for someone who doesn't move that much. Seeing all this I've come to the conclusion most vtubers just don't give a shit about how good their rigging is & neither do their audience. They just want something that works at a bare minimum & anything extra is wasted time for a rigger just being paid to do a job.

A GenX friend of mine is a big fan and he sent me an interview with Peanut. I decided to give it a listen, and I have to admit - the guy is very entertaining and likeable. I'm not into streamers or the games he plays, but still it was an interesting listen. I can see why his channel blew up so fast.
He is also open that he self-censors because streaming puts food on his table, which is fair enough.

I'm not sure if he made the peanut rig himself, but he makes all those scenes, transitions, music videos, intros, and stream effects himself. He's a big Blender nerd who seems to enjoy making those things for fun.
