I'm genuinely curious to know how much of this is just autistic internet banter and how much is sincere. I can very well believe that a number of people want to engage in cannibalism, but I have a much harder time buying that any significant people want to be eaten; yes, I'm aware that the vore fetish exists. Edgy internet communities, even kiwifarms, have their inside jokes about suicide and wanting to kill one another/rape their mother, see every 12-year old that plays first person shooters with a microphone. If these behaviors are sincere, they probably began long before they discovered the sites because of how difficult it would be to randomly stumble upon them. My guess is that there are a number of missing links that we're not aware of. Perhaps the desire to be eaten or eat one another is born out of other fetishes including vore, BDSM, and various rape fantasies. The idea that its closely related to rape fantasies would make a great deal of sense considering the literature we've seen already concerning the degradation and abuse of women specifically. If that's the case, we can expect to see a number of sex meetups being planned on these forums for reasons other than butchering each other, perhaps gangbanging is a popular activity. Otherwise, vore sounds like the most likely solution but it's nothing something I associate too closely with the darknet; most vore that I'm aware of is found on sites like deviantart and furaffinity and these sites aren't known for attracting users with a particular interest in cannibalism.

There also were tribes where people cut off their (or their slaves) dicks and post pictures of it. Note: Eating a corpse is illegal even if its their wish you eat them, but cutting off organs of someone who consents when alive you can eat. Some people made a stink about it, first on 8ch, then reddit, then the site went down all of a sudden. However nobody has never picked up the story nor did Mark Pincus get any bad mouth for running a site that had CP and actual content of people cutting off organs and eating Human fleash.
