Actually another question that popped into my head - how the hell would anyone be able to nail down Chris' style of writing? I've seen numerous people try and some got close but you can still whether it's him or not.

It's challenging - lot's of random capitalization. @Marvin was a lot of help here, especially in helping me figure out how Chris would reply.

I never thought I'd see the day that Chris did something legitimately cool, but here we are. What a world.

Yeah, at this point Chris was absolutely dismayed that he fell for this and was quite angry. He messaged me at one point at 3am, having woken up from bed and did the math with the 6k figure. He genuinely wants to see these guys burn and hopefully get some of the money back.

Unsure. It was my understanding that Chris is banned from all physical GameStop locations in Virginia.

From the looks of it he ordered a lot (if not all, my memory is bad) of the items online. The receipts he provide to @Marvin, @Null and I were all screenshots he took on his phone through the GameStop app.

Has anyone considered contacting the Postmaster or Postmaster General in Chris’s area? My understanding of the story is that this is (less likely) extortion or (quite literally) “bad faith” - and while on the face it could be seen as a gift between adults, Chris’s autism and history with the law may show he’s not completely functioning (if even mildly) and was being taken advantage of.

But I would worry this would draw attention to Chris, who wouldn’t do well to the stress of an investigation, even if it was in his favor. Or that they’d find out something even slightly sketchy (like Chris not fulfilling comic orders way back when) and turn it around on him somehow.

@Null called Boyd's mother. They have five? kids, two of them being minors. The Boyd in question has their birthday listed on their @NinFreakLan KF account, which doesn't make them a minor. We were unsure if they lived at home or were the Boyd that lived a couple miles away and was having stuff shipped to his parents house to avoid detection (so much good that did for him, lol).

There was also a point in which we thought one of the brothers might have been trying to blackmail the other, i.e. pin it on their disabled sibling.

If you look at the GameStop Receipts I quoted from Null's OP, all of them are from physical GameStop locations in VA (though they're not in the Fashion Square Mall itself). the dates place this after Chris's arrest was made public on here. Now everything from here one is pure conjecture, but I don't think Chris would risk going to GameStop locations so soon after his arrest without some degree of coercion.

Also, one correction, the Canadian's username is @de_DEVIL_tails, he actually showed up on a /cow/ thread some days back.

Finally, Josh Wise was in Special Ed for a while, he confirmed it during our PM conversation. And boy did he match the label..

Chris is currently in touch with a local organization that helps with mental health and legal issues, but we're unsure of how much (if any) help they are. These are the folks Rocky pointed him to. Chris seems rather neutral about their assistance.

Chris has been an easy target for a long time, this seems inevitable. If it wasn't these tards it would be the next Jessica. If Virginia APS hasn't been called, it might be informative.

Agreeing that Rocky was right and he needs a group home. It would solve so many problems in Chris's life: the social isolation, the financial abuse (most publically-funded group homes take your SSDI to pay for them, which is fine because Barb does that anyway and does fuck all with the $), and honestly his hygiene would probably improve. I think if Chris had real peers in a home setting he would be a LOT less vulnerable to Internet bullshit. He clearly loves hanging out with real people. Unfortunately getting someone who is legally "competent" to a psych eval will be pretty much impossible so maybe the best we can hope for is that street outreach workers will pick him up when Barb dies and he becomes homeless
