People usually don't mortgage a house at 80 for fun. They do it because they lack the savings or income in retirement to continuing living the lifestyle to which they have become accustomed. The Chandler mortgage (and possible mortgages) is just confusing. Where did all that money go? The cost to repair home should have been pretty minimal as they were insured. They do not buy anything new or fancy. Chris squanders money like a Chinaman at a baccarat table ("monkey!, monkey!"), but he never has enough to cause any real harm.

It does not matter much though. Chris gets $1300 from government for being disabled and hundreds to thousands more from his enables. He can easily afford to bounce around from apartment to apartment when he is evicted for abhorrent living conditions.

Yeah, but they were just as irresponsible. I don't believe that tugboat was for Chris. I think Bob and Barb did it for extra money. They have always taken some from him without actually helping him to budget and be ready for a future without his doddering fool parents. It was always putting off troubles easiest way possible.

He spoke for a little bit when he was a really little kid, but "God put the mute button" on him until he was about seven. He claims that he didn't speak as a result of the trauma inflicted on him by the evil babysitter.

That's all according to Chris though, so you've got to take it with a shaker of salt.

OK, that was a long-ass read. Can you guys not reply directly in reaction to the OP 30 pages into the thread?

Anyway, here's my 10 cents regarsire Chris's mental state:
Provided he got a little help, he'd definitely capable of living alone.

After Chris got expelled from PVCC, he took a test for retardation at his mental evaluation and got a perfect score (meaning he passed at not being retarded).

And in his earliest sonichu comics, he just comes off as your average socially awkward guy; I would've expected from those comics alone for him to have a small loyal friend group supporting him and a semi-decent job, not anything close to even what was going on by the late 2000s.

Also, bluespike wasn't a sociopath, just a 13-year-old not thinking of the ramifications that "lolll shove medallion up his ass" could have

People need to understand that way, way back then, the internet was still a brand new thing. Social Media hadn't even solidified its footing yet, and many, many children and young teenagers of the 00s were going crazy with what could be done with human gullibility. Myself included.

I was right there (yeah yeah :powerlevel:) when my own sister was frantically going nuts on her instant messanger as someone was hacking her accounts, doing similar type of shit Max did, making demands, etc. And I was even partly in the know during this big fiasco when a local girl hijacked another girl's account and was "Liquid-ing" them too. Way back in 2003-2005. I was responsible for my own trolling. I once joined a band of "merry men" from a Stone Cutter club I managed to become a part of. It was an offshoot of Serebii forums, where we made a Stone Cutter club so we can insult Serebii Joe and get reactions off of him.

That's right guys, I have trolled Serebii Joe before.

I've done a lot of shit on the internet. And had I discovered Chris as a 15 year old in 2009 (but by that time I was really 23), I would've had the same mindset Max had, and would have seen just how far down I could do it. That's why in hindsight, I always enjoyed @Bluespike and why I affectionally keep calling him "Max."

Us "Merry Men" went out one night and completely Spammed and destroyed some kids offshoot Pokemon forum he was trying to establish. Posting lewd photographs, talking about semen, and every other jackass shit your mind thinks of when you are weeeeeening. After all was said and done and the admin named Josh (yep, another Josh. Everyone is Josh on the internet it seems) saw what we were doing, he screamed and forced us to stop our weeeening. A few days later, however, I start my trolling back up again and within the course of a month, I destroyed the forum. IP bans didn't work. I was smarter than the kid.

I've done a lot of shit over the internet through the years. Nothing criminal, but I certainly do enjoy hiding behind anonymity. I've once posted on /b/ the Republican Elephant logo, and titled the thread "Okay, time to get extremely homophobic." and listed off a bunch of hurtful truth facts like "Gay people are more likely to get AIDS." Just doing it to see what kind of response I'll get.

I do this in the Bob Chipman thread and the Boogie thread until I was threadbanned from the latter. I may not be the best net citizen ever, but I have grown up a lot since the 00s.

But I wouldn't really make Chris do physical harm to himself like shoving medallion pieces up the anal and shitting on the floor if I ended up being a "Saga Runner." I'd just do something akin to Liquid. I'd fuck around with the CWCverse maybe, but by making actual productions and not scamming and photoshopping and voice altering like Wise and co did. And I wouldn't extort Chris, but rather split profits if my content becomes successful.

Worst I'd ever do is force Chris out with "Hurtful Truths" about how he needs to get a grip on society and the real world right now. "The Talk" dear leader did with Chris about kissing was fucking 95% CPU goddesses and copypasta already known from Chris. He says he won't fuck up anymore, but he always says that.

I guarantee he's gonna try touch a boob without consent at Bronycon.

He's doing okay, but wants his money back obviously. Two days ago he posted messages on Twitter aimed at these two.

Right now he's trying to get to Bronycon and had a decent situation setup but the person who was going to host him backed out last minute due to personal reasons.

A few people have messaged me asking how they can help, and my personal recommendation would be purpose driven gift cards, i.e. food, lodging (AirBNB), gas, etc. Just sending him money willy nilly intended for the con might not get spent on the con but other things.

I would honestly advise against sending money at this point unless it's in exchange for something you actually want. I wouldn't compel anyone to try and send him money.

You're right. I don't think this problem can be solved with gift cards. I think the best thing we can do is just lay off him and let his real world dominate his attention instead of his internet world.

Edit: I was thinking about this and maybe it might be a good time to put the Chris forum on hold for a couple of weeks. No new posts. It might not help a lot, but maybe taking the spotlight off of Chris for a little while might help a little. Just an idea.

Maybe, temporarily, replace the forum with a message expressing our support of Chris. Using small words and a sonichu
