Another Christmas Grievance:
I went to watch the "Christmas Shoes" video because the song is awful and I wanted to read comments making fun of how terrible it was, but all the comments are from people who have lost their mothers. Now I'm bummed out.

I love Christmas. The gift giving, the light, traveling around town to see how people decorated, getting family over and playing drinker board games while sweeping up due to being the only one sober. Heck I even like the Christmas music and regularly sing the songs from November to February. The only problem I have is that it's too bloody hot. Nothing can be cooked in 30+ degree heat so you eat cold meats (and yummy yummy trifle) instead of say hot lamb, can't have a family barbeque as it's far too warm on the deck, and despite the heat due to being expected to spend time with family you can't sit around in just your undies. It would be lovely to have a moderate or even slightly chilly Christmas

The fact that Shooting Star by Deepest Blue only ever gets played around Christmas time for some bizarre reason. Who decided that was the best time to play it?

Shitty Christmas music everywhere, especially "All I Want for Christmas is You" and "Wonderful Christmastime." Fuck that shit.

Otherwise, I've always loved Christmas.
Ugh, my mom hates the latter song like poison. That aside, I don't really have any issues with Christmas aside from it being pushed back way too early- I started seeing decorations and candy a week before Halloween!
