You don't have to be a moralfag to dislike the incest siblings game, it's fanfic-tier writing and a waste of time in general. But since I'm a sperg with free time to spare, let me share the impressions I had about this walking simulator:

Spoiler: RPG Maker Serious bussiness

I don't care about "muh controversy" since I'm used to horror media in general. The writing is simply bad. The characters are unidimensional and the dialogues are not funny. The quirky and sassy protagonist gets really tiresome after hours and hours of the same tone. Every interaction is a shade of "sister being a snarky bitch and brother being a faggot", which could work on the hands of a talented writer, but every bit of it was either repetitive or borderline fappy material. If the author wanted to make the pain of being trapped with those two characters as realistic possible, he/she succeeded.
Even the controversial plot-points such as the cannibalistic dinner falls flat and boring with nothing substantial being brought to table other than to show the "lmao i'm so edgy" tone the story has.

I would compare that game to the show "The ending of the fucking world", which is about unlikable teenagers doing unlikable things in a boring setting that only other teenager cunts would see something of value.

That being said, people who pay for RPG maker games should have their internet cut off.

Never played the game but watched a let play of it and other nemlei 'games'. All of them are actually more visual novel than games COAL being the sole''exception'' and again it barely have any game play. Heck it a insult to rpg maker game, OFF, omori, space funeral, fear and hunger, lisa the painful and yume nikki just to name a few are better than this shit.
Yes the art is objectively cute but that it it just generic cute and it the only arguably positive in the game. The writing is childish(a issue with nemlei games) the character are unlikable, the plot make no sense. and what is basically 'gameplay' is long and boring tldr dialog.
If they were no incest ''controversy'' the game will have fallen into obscurity

Decided to try this game because of the memes, was not disappointed. Fujoshit writing is usually crap, but in this case I am invested in the story

Apparently to get the incest ending you REALLY should deliberately fuck up your choices, so it's 100% on you if you wanna get that ending. So based on the story you could say the TCOAL is more about murdering and cannibalizing your parents than incest because murdering your parents is what you get regardless of the route
