Listen here fuckface, the golden age arc is pretty good, and the series eventually turns hopeful (and then the author dies by IRL waifu overdose, literally) however I do respect your opinion because sometimes it tends to play the "no light without darkness" angle so hard that it veers dangerously close to misery porn, the volume right after the golden age end which coincidentally is a also the start of vol1 is guilty as fuck of this.
