The main reason you do this is to prevent fraud because it carries more detailed info than the old magnetic strips, it doesn't require contact and, like I said, is pretty damn old and accessible technology. These newfangled credit and debit cards being notable examples of why you want to keep this shit locked up. There are tons of products available for this. Special wallets and whatnot.

So, just wear gloves if they chip us then? There's a big difference between RFID on a credit card (that I can choose to leave at home) and a chip implanted in my hand which I could, I guess, leave at home but it would be a permanent kind of thing. Not an optional carry it only if I feel like it. And if it is used to grant or deny me access to places, being able to cover it up will do jack shit.

Yeah, but to be fair, I honestly didn't think half the things that have happened with covid would occur either. Sure, I may be a schitzo christfag, whatever, but at some point you have to see that covid has made it possible for them to do things that would have seemed like pure lunacy even 2 years ago. Ok, you apparently didn't read my post from earlier. I used this tech 20-something years ago to tag fish to figure out where they have sex and poop and die and stuff (not exactly in that order).
