The Division 2 is hard as fuck SOLO

The Division 1 is also free right now on Uplay. No idea if it includes the expansions but hey free games to dick around in.

I think Division 2 is better through.

Underground was rolled into the base game I believe.

Division 1 is still worth playing, if only for the campaign. Its a much weaker product in terms of grind and gameplay, but the atmosphere is still a huge stand out - there's just something very special about how they put together wintery NYC. I still occasionally log in to play Survival and soak it all up.

There are some nice locations in The Division 2 but I prefer New York and the snow of the first game.

Everyone I know who has both says that D1 is way better than 2 because 2 doesnt improve on anything.
 
I don’t think div2 underperforming was “chinesewhispers”. I had no idea it came out until several months ago. I refunded 1 but I heard 2 was much better so I’m waiting for maybe Winter sale.
 
Bumping this thread to say that Massive just doesn't give a shit about The Division 2 anymore. The final manhunt was such a letdown. You take down Faye and.... that's it. No dialogue or cutscene, nothing.
 
I think COVID really screwed them up. The Resident Evil event was suppose to be way more fleshed out and after the the recent announcement that there is more Division 2 stuff coming down the pipeline they might have killed that big final cutscene of the game for something else.

Your right through really should have been more since it was a complete closure of the Division 1 and 2 story even if there is more coming.
 
Bumping this thread; sorry for bringing it up, but apparently Div 2 has been getting a number of updates for the past year or so; continuation of the story and all that. Anyone know what's been going on?

Soooooooooooo basically the Division was ready to go maintenance mode mode because COVID kind of screwed up all the scheduling (and I think the next Division/Star Wars game). The Devs were given some money to extend the game which meant more manhunt seasons with some audio files and new exotics. A new raid was dropped around the start of 2022 (I believe) and I think the latest update lets people play it solo now.
