The easiest way into your heart? - Probing for info, obvs

Be a good person, not be a dumbass, be able to carry on an intelligent conversation and be honest. But most important you must be kind to animals, companion or otherwise. They are sentient beings, capable of much more than we give them credit for. Cruelty to animals infers you are devoid of empathy and ethics.

Be nice to me without having to be, and you'll have a place in my heart. Show an interest in my lame hobbies, and I'll want to be your friend forever. Be better and know more about my hobbies than me, and I'll be helplessly in love, man.

Being nerdy. Seriously, that's my honest answer. It doesn't even have to be an interest I'm interested in myself, but people who dare to be unapologetically nerdy about something just gets me really interested in them.
(Exceptions does apply. See: Furries, bronies and such)
Maybe it's because I was young when grunge was a thing and to be cool, you just had to be that kind of "Don't care about anything, ever"-type. Barf. So boring.
One of my exes had a fancy degree in a field (Soft sciences) I just plain don't respect. I mocked her. She held her own. Schooled me on its importance and beamed with nerdy interest when she spoke. I fell for her, and hard. And that's the story of why Swagstika is also into girls, sometimes, for the right person.

Edit: Me no word good.

Which soft science did she have a degree in?

Oh jesus christ, I'd make fun of her too. But hey, if she could make you appreciate it, I'm certain she loved it.
The jokes practically write themselves, don't they?
It's just low hanging fruit begging to be picked.
But I did learn to appreciate the field though, I mean, one of her co-workers is (Was? Dunno) teaching hostage negotiations and other high pressure situations for police and military, so I do see the applications for the field... But you never really think of that when you first hear pedagogy, you just think of teaching little snot nosed kids to not wipe their boogers everywhere, right?
She was really cool. I miss her. No joke, she was the one that got away.

Being nice to waiters, cashiers, janitors, street-cleaners and giving some tips to deliverymen. That's where you see how a person is truly is, if they don't treat them well they are trash, the people I have described are one of the most important backbones to society, far more important that politicians and twitter blue's check marks.
Another one is just by sitting on a bench, eating sunflower's seeds while talking about something but sharing everything, and drinking a nice cold beer, of course.
Dark sense of humor is important too, life is a never ending freak circus after all.
And finally, giving the best hugs ever, I love hugs and hugging people. Call me corny, but I love the feel of it.

I am friends with most of the 12-steppers I know, so if you want to be my friend, join my cult of sobriety from hard drugs. That’s the most sure-fire way.
