What do we think about spinning off "try-to-dox-yourself" into a new thread? I've found it interesting what other people have found, and had some fun my self. But it is a bit off-topic.

Spoiler: Here's What I Found On Myself

I picked my username because I love Trapped Under Ice and always imagined it would be a funny name for any all Asian Trapped Under Ice cover band. Apparently this was not a unique idea, as there is such a band in LA that plays Metallica covers. And there's a twitter user from CA that may be associated with them. Seems like a cool enough hardcore dude, but this Tweet has me conflicted.

There's also a user on reddit who has my name and seems to be a different person based on location and job. They look pretty normal for a reddit user, pro-2A and into motorcycles and hardcore. They sperg about fascists occasionally, but less than the average redditor.

They're both alright in my book. So I hope they don't get harassed because of me. But whatever, it took me about 10 minutes to figure out where they both live and work. And that's pretty gay on their page.

I have to give this to him: He managed to control himself during the registration process itself. If he had stuck with "Vo Jakson" and blended in he would probably be OK.

The dunce went straight to prospering grounds and started a thread. On himself. (He got outed within two pages, admitted to being the subject of the OP then started shitting up the thread with Loud House and political sperging).

Thing is, Mr "Jakson"-Herman gave out the username "doodeet3". He happens to use this for everything.

From the tumblr I got his Instagram account under the name "dodeet3" (he has since deleted this but it's still in search engine archives).

On Facebook he goes by "dodeet", and was still active when I last checked. (Unfortunately I can't get into IG or FB, refuse to make accounts on them.)

Why did he make a thread on himself? He wants Kiwi Farms to read his fanfiction and "find out what makes him tick".

I can't think of any other self-made threads. Closest is probably that dumb bitch who wrote to Null whining about another site's thread on her who then got given one here.

Those are just the ones worthwhile enough to save, there have been others that just got straight out deleted as far as I can tell.

There was one where this guy showed up, he was some absolute fucking loser I think from California (not certain though), and while he didn't explicitly say he was posting about himself, it was obvious from the get go. His post made sure to make it clear that he was an actor! And ran acting classes!

I actually found it a little offensive, because he made sure to highlight that he's JEWISH.
So basically the jerk off read somewhere on social media that KF is a nazi white supremacist site and assumed that all he had to do was include that he's Jewish, everyone here would turn into a pack of snarling dogs and him, being a whipsmart actor, was going to play these basement dwelling cavemen like a fiddle.

So yes it happens, it's just that the mods make sure not to indulge it at all.

It really isn't the worst op I've seen on first glance, but looking through it again (with the benefit of hindsight), you really start to see cracks where you could maybe tell something is up.

It's kind of sad really. Yes the OP was lacking, and obviously based on how much material was posted within the first page by other users. But Gavin actually seems capable of poking fun at himself to some degree. That isn't something you see often in lolcows. Even after he was found out he still posts self depricating material, it's like he wants to be a cow.

All the more reason not to give him the blog self-made thread, at least for now. Unlike some of the other recent spergs that have emerged (Chase, Zatlit) Gavin seems to have some basic understanding of online culture. If he can get over the navel-gazing and attention whoring, he could be a passable poster-there have been and are much more autistic freakshows that managed to be average members of KF for years on end.

I hope people realize how easy it is to create gay-ops and trolling due to the popularity of this thread. What stops someone from creating an account through Tor and pretend to be someone else (from elsewhere) on here?

It's also something people do on purpose, or at least I know some that do for avatars and usernames as personal entertainment. You might not be a regular in certain boards on Kiwifarms, but in some (like the DSP one) we get occasional, but never dying waves of LARPers and subtle/not so subtle impersonators.

They want you to connect the dots, so half the fun in that board nowadays is to spot them, the impersonators, and impersonator of impersonators.
