Old post quoting, but I agree, especially with your last sentence. And too many people who do get "doxxxxxxxxxed" fail to realise that is the most important part. In the grand scheme of things, most people in the real world don't even know what KiwiFarms is, and don't care. The Twitter trannies and other online "cancel culture" retards only have so much influence, and if you're on here and a known person, what can they really do to you, provided you don't engage in the usual "lol, nigger-faggot/TTD" discourse? The youtuber Louis Rossman is on here, and verified. But AFAIK he's only ever commented in his namesake thread. He was even asked on another platform about his KF account, and he pretty much said that yeah, he had a KF account, but he stays away from the more undesirable parts of the site. And guess what? No big controversy erupted, troons weren't calling for him to be lynched, and nothing has happened. Because he didn't come on here acting like a retard, get exposed by the userbase as a degenerate, and then sperg out hysterically like so many others have done. There's a few others that have been verified as well, either willingly or unwillingly, and took it on the chin.

While I think all pedos and "MAPs" deserve the most painful and drawn out execution possible, I do draw the line at "thought-crimes". Yeah, we can all roast Vaush for his pedo/loli tendencies, Keffals for his pedo/grooming tendencies, "Sophie" Labelle for his furry/pedo/grooming tendencies (I think I'm noticing a trend here... 🤔), and while I personally think all furries are degenerate faggots who deserve the rope, I also think criminalizing thought is the most dangerous precedent thet would literally lead to the end of society as we know it. How many of us have jokingly talked about robbing a bank, or gotten pissed at someone and offhandedly said "I'll kill that motherfucker!" and not really mean it? Would you want to be thrown in jail and charged criminally for these offhanded remarks? Letting these degenerate fucks spread their faggotry, and voluntarily tell us who and what they are is a pretty good barrier of protection.

As far as "age of consent" and power imbalance dynamics, that's a tricky one to navigate. Nobody can argue that there isn't a huge difference in maturity and experience between a freshly 18 year old high-schooler, and a 40-something business executive. But, at least in the modern west, the law doesn't really allow for context in most cases, and the whole "age of consent" doctrine is the best we've got. That's why the so-called "Romeo and Juliet" laws that a few states in the US have are a good thing. Locking up a kid who just turned 18 yesterday, because he's an "adult" and his 16-almost 17 year old girlfriend's parents don't like him , and they have the unfortunate circumstance of being more than 365 days apart in age is ridiculous, IMO. I know that every experience is different, and sure, there *might* be that ONE SPECIFIC EXAMPLE of a twice-divorced single parent, who found his one true love because she's the same age as his 19 year old daughter, but we all know the likely situation in 99.9% of cases. Personally I think the old rule of, "once you're 18, half your age plus 7 years" is a good general frame of reference to go by.

On one hand you are right, most people don't care. On the other hand there are people like Hector Martin, Daniel Micay and others frequenting the GrapheneOS chats who have used his account to smear him as being a far-right transphobic swatter or whatever. Somebody with an axe to grind could form a harassment campaign against him sustained by statements from "respectable" figures like Hector Martin and Daniel Micay, and it hasn't happened yet because nobody hates Louis that much.

And that's my point. A few spergy autists and their online slapfight over which flavour of Linux is better for one specific purpose, is largely irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. Admittedly while I'm a fan of Louis, and have seen his video, I didn't know about most of the drama until you linked your thread. Even then, Louis doesn't seem to be affected much, if at all by being linked to the evil bird fruit forum. He just simply keeps above it all, and has so far been relatively unscathed by the "controversy". Also, O know you were being facetious, but I'm pressing a big "X" for doubt by calling either Hector/Asahi or Daniel Micay "respectable".

I'd say this gets more inaccurate as you get older. I'd say once a woman is in her mid 20s it's not necessarily predatory to romance her, and definitely not once she's in her 30s. You might get odd looks but it isn't abusive. It may be unlikely to last long but I don't think anyone is going to be harmed by it.

“Repertory” and “repertoire” [of course my fingers went retarded when typing it] are, etymologically, the same word. However, the former spelling is almost exclusively invoked in the context of theatre troupe. I admit I’ve seen both used by musicians discussing the catalog of party piece songs they‘re confident in breaking out at any time - But musicians never know what the words they use mean: They merely try to say them in a way that sounds like they mean them.

Right. I just say that as a "bare minimum" guideline for the age difference spergs. Granted, as you said when you're in your 30s and older, it's less of an issue, morally speaking, but I stand by the thought that a huge age difference in people, even at older ages, is largely incompatible with a successful relationship most of the time. When one partner is in their 60's and another in their mid 30's to early 40's that's an entirely different generation, but still less likely to be an issue than the previous 18 to 45yo age difference I talked about.

Used WhatsMyName to check if anybody else used the name I have and it looks like no, my username is only used on this website alone. It tells me there's some false positives on xHamster and Inkbunny though but I don't have the capacity to check those.
