Which means he tried out the game at launch (November 2022), quit and tried again later on April 2023 (Alice has been in the base game since launch, but she got an event that increased the gacha rate for her (archive)), and then quit again. He then played in November 2024 (second anniversary, Old Tales was the event then). I guess he ended up forgetting his account details for his original account:

Since he doesn't mention any event in between Old Tales and the Mermaid one (which ran from late-April to mid-May 2025), he started again and has been playing on a new account for around a month now. I guess for him, the anime waifus he's accrued on a month-old account are worth the complaints about the more greedier aspects of NIKKE (gacha rates, limited resources, how hard it is on new players).
