It's always the same problem. I think everybody reasonable agree.
But people like the attention and the rush they get from doxing another user. And they know if they don't hurry, some other retard will be first. There is no fixing it. Unless you filter out retards, but then you don't have anyone left to track.
It's an egg and chicken situation.

A solution to this spawn camping problem would be to either make a spawn camping DM chain or to make a spawn camping thread in TSIC/The T&H board. That way, spawn campers can still dox randoms but it won't affect what they do on this forum.

That's.....not a terrible idea. The spergs who gets a rush off doxing newfags can compete with each other for clout in a DM chain, and should a said newfag they have doxed turn out to be a potential lolcow, then they are perfectly set to drop dox on this thread.
We just have to get the spawn campers to agree to this, under threat of some kind of hard moderation if they break containment improperly.

No. The DM Chain/Thread would be limited to spawn-camping exclusively. Maybe only allow users with >50 posts and a join date of >1 month in there?

Maybe make it a rule ITT to not @ the user in question until the information is confirmed. That way people who watch this thread can go over the information first.
Both options sound bad imo. Putting it in a DM chain is weird and putting it behind a paywall would kill it.

I think a DM chain is a perfect idea. Look how fast the Crabshacks acquired their own mini culture.
A DM chain for the people so hungry to dox they camp new regs is ideal, and let's them compete for dominance against each other without scaring new blood away, as well as be in position to dox a deserving faggot once they deserve it and get adulation from the rest of us.

The idea of moving it to a DM and making it limited to only the people who know to ask to join is my problem with it.
I say to meet in the middle. Move the thread to the secret shit posting board. That way new sign ups can't see it for awhile and everyone has access to it and can find it just by using the search function.

The problem is people will do it regardless, either because they don't know better or don't care. Having as many people be able to see the thread is important because a lot of people sign up, limiting to who can see the thread in a DM or in the supporter board will give less eyes on the thread and post in.
It's why I am suggesting to move it to the secret shit posting board. Almost everyone who wants to search user names can see it, but users who are new enough to not see it aren't an issue anymore. It would essentially solve the problem imo.
