This is one of those websites that's been around for years that's still cranking out consistently nutty content everyday. It's a hotbed for conspiracy theorists, gold and silver nuts, preppers, and some extreme libertarian types. The guy who runs this blog has a really ironic name himself that I almost thought that he was tied to Chris somehow. There's other coincidences about him that I will reveal at the end of the OP, so bear with me.

Now onto Michael Snyder himself. You got that right. That's what his name is. He's obviously not the one that Chris knew at the Game Place, but it is really coincidental that this guy claimed to be an undergraduate at the University of Virginia. It was right there on his contact page. Lol.

What makes you say that. We don't know what his religion was and seeing how the game place is closed now he probably is on hard times and would start believing this crap.

On the actual content he seems to talk about rising inequality and a societal collapse. Does he not realize that if the rich were so powerful then they would do all in their power to prevent this collapse due to it harming their interests

Two reasons:

The first is that in their fantasy it is a lot more appealing to join a post apocalyptic rape mob then it is to lose their job and tardbux

Secondly they only know about the economic crashes that destroyed ancient civilizations and not the thousands that just were minor nuisances and nobody even bothered to record

This blog and its readers are literately a doomsday cult.

Prophecies about civilization ending? Check. Fear mongering that capitalism will collapse soon? Check. Using established religious beliefs (in this case it's Christianity) to lure in people that don't know better? Check.

It wouldn't surprise me if someday this guy does pull a Heaven's Gate later on and then we hear about it on the news.
