The Elder Scrolls

I’m still mad that in Dawngaurd your character (who just joined a guild of vampire hunters), decides to give the newest awoken ancient vampire with an Elder Scroll, back to her father. Unless you are role-playing as an absolute retard, this makes absolutely no sense to do if you are doing the Dawngaurd route. It’s such a lazy way to contrive a conflict, that even the game acknowledges it’s dumb.
You know what's worse? If you take Serana back to Fort Dawnguard before going to see her dad Isran will tell you to go along with her plan. Serana Dialogue Add-on tries to explain this by having Serana casting a calm spell on you when you open the tomb.

Ah, that's the mod.

🤔 Hmmm...

I do like how Dawnguard unintentionally has Serena where you have to escort her back yet you can just take her with you as a bonus third partner without breaking the game. Sure, you don't get her full potential but she's fun to have especially against tougher foes

The mod really should have leaned much more into being an ASOIAF style gritty political, human story rather than incorporating esoteric nonsense from teslore and having the story degenerate into a confusing mess.
Yeah leave the autistic kirkbridian weirdness to that Jap guy who really likes Dark Souls.

I fucking LOVE Vicn.

Hey how is ESO these days? I haven’t really played it in 2 years but I have an account almost 10 years old.

Simply put, everything became repetitive and my computer storage management is shit and it is slow af on my old computer.

Buuuut I am interested in if it’s worth getting back into.

Oblivion remake should simply be a mod pack that adds controller support and some UI updates. Maybe update the o.g. engine for a more up to date directx? Add 64 bit support without hacking the executable? Bump textures if you must.

Keep it simple Todd.
Oblivion deserves to be expanded upon. The cities are too small and confined in the walls. The Imperial City Isle was supposed to have bigger outskirts, hamlets, and farmland. Sutch was supposed to be a town. Kvatch was supposed to be rebuilt over time (the mod is okay but lacking). The faction quests needed a little more love and aftercare. Cyrodil was supposed to have slight elements of jungle foliage and grassland near Valenwood that never made it.

I know you can alter the cities with the mod to make them bigger, but there's only so much modders can do. One of my favorite mods put camps in the daedric shrines that the denizens there use.

ESO is hit or miss on fun, depends heavily on what zone you're in. Inventory management sucks without ESO+ giving you a craftbag.

I will say I really enjoyed the Necrom/Telvanni peninsula expansion, Sotha Sil's Clockwork City, and the Summerset Isles. I've heard good things about Gold Road.

I've only played ESO for like 1 hour, got bored and uninstalled. Also I learned it has level-scaling which is antithetical to MMORPG's in my opinion. My main problem with it from a lore-perspective is that the game takes place around 800 years before Morrowind, but of course as an MMO they have to keep introducing a new big bad every expansion. This leads to a timeframe with several different world-ending threats that take place shortly after one another. But of course nobody in the future talks about how Molag Bal invaded Nirn, or the several other cataclysmic events, because they forgot to write it down or something.

ESO’s expansions are overpriced, no reason to play it over better MMOs.
No reason to play any MMO, well not unless you're on a private serverwhere you can edit files and configs to "un-MMO" it.
Nolvus Awakening
Is that that mod list that people on Wabbajack's dicksword were sperging about and banning people for because it locked a beta of an already in in-beta mod list for testing that was going to be publicly released soon anyway behind a paywall? Lol. While I'm not going to use Nolvus because my PC can't handle it I support them for pissing off the Wabbafags.

Oh great, people are putting in-progress modlists behind a paywall now, not just the mods themselves. Imagine being such a faggot that Rip Taylor would cut down the tree used for the pyre that you should be put on.
