Sometimes the joy in playing an RPG is experiencing the achievement in overcoming a challenge through your own wit and exploration.
This is true, but playing a Bethesda game without exploiting how broken it is lies on par with wrapping your balls in barbed wire.

When the obstacles are things in a well-made game, there is nothing better than the feeling of overcoming them. When the obstacle is the incompetence of the developers, the only winning move is not to play.

Exactly, it's not that it's not a problem, it's just so minor compared to everything else that it makes you look unhinged to focus so hard on it. It's like everybody woke up one day and forgot what "picking your battles" means.
It's almost like there's a concerted effort to make people who object to troonery look deranged...
A) Letting "little" stuff go is exactly why gaming has gotten this bad, because it was never little and they never stop with the "small" stuff. If you haven't realized that progressives always start small and corrupt further from that point, then you frankly are not capable of pattern recognition or haven't paid any attention.

B) Progressive rot is always an indication of much deeper and profound problems, which ties into the pattern recognition bit from earlier. The moment I saw the tranny body type garbage, I knew this game would be bad, and the more I learn, the more I realize that they fucked up a 20 year old game and charged full price for it.

....So does the remaster suck or not?
Also, why is it 125 gb? that seems retarded

You buy a new car but the dealer tells you not to go above 50 miles per hour because it will overheat the engine and the car will explode. He says not to use the AC because the way the air filter system is setup will also cause the car to explode. He says the break pads were put on wrong meaning you need to break at least 2000 feet before any traffic light or more when a car is in front of you. Finally he says that this is just “part of the package” and you need to get used to these flaws and accept it.

Thats what people sound like when they justify all the bad gameplay choices Oblivion presented.

Cry more faggot. Now fuck off and waddle upstairs and tell your mommy it's Risperdal time. LOLOLOLOLOL
What's wrong faggot? Forget to take your Risperdal again? LOL
When your mommy calls you upstairs to take your Risperdal you should take it. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
Now fuck off you autismonaut faggot and go take your Risperdal. LOL
I think you need to get back on your Risperdal.
Now fuck off retard and go upstairs and tell mommy you need your Risperdal you autistic loser. LOLOLOLOLOL
I don't think there is enough Risperdal in the world to calm them down after that. LOL
Now waddle your fat ass upstairs and tell your mommy it's Risperdal time. LOL
It's your mom. I'm sure she does everyday when you go up stairs to get your daily dose of Risperdal for that bad case of autism induced irritability you have. LOL
You really need to start taking the Risperdal your mommy gives you.
Now waddle up the steps and tell your mommy it's Risperdal time. LOL
This is insultslop. I think somebody's missing his daily Risperdal.

Skyrim had the same thing where it was 3x slower while in combat, but here it feels more like 5x slower. How the fuck am I supposed to play a spellsword with this garbage?
That problem would have been solved if skyrim had spell crafting or the perks had different effects for the existing spells instead of "reduce mana for shitty expert level fireball", skyrim magic pisses me off so fucking much

Morrowind doesnt have mana regen unless you rest (or pray if you are atronach), however since spell crafting is a thing you can tailor your spells to your liking, would you rather nuke everyone or direct damage and instanly kill the strongest boy but waste all of your mana in the process leaving you potentially defenseless? use a slowburn spell? buff yourself instead? you could make a spell for any situation and enemy wich made the lack of mana regen in combat not that big of a problem and if you ran out there were enchanted items to back you up or potions (try an enchanting only run is fun)

In skyrim is not about the quality of the spell (since all of them do shit damage), is about how much of them you can throw at the enemy and stunlock them with the fucking impact perk, this is why the goal of any "pure" mage in skyrim is rush enchant to make a 0% cost destruction gear so you can finally do something, the best "magic" setup in skyrim is summoner or niggermancer hybrid with melee, everything else sucks (except restoration because free potion and alteration because paralizis and the atronach perk exist)
Skyrim magic makes so MATI

They changed how the enemies behave toward the player, in the remaster. They're so unnecessarily tunnel visioned that you're forced to cheese them in anything that isn't a 1 on 1. It's incredibly obvious when doing the arena, in the 3 on 1 fights. They'll ignore your summons, ignore the boar, clip around them if you push them into a corner, chase you faster than you can move if you attempt to reposition, and hit you with melee attacks mid-sprint with such precision that you'd be forgiven for thinking they can swing while sprinting at the same time.

Game looks both terrible and great, at the same time, but this isn't the Oblivion I grew up playing or revisited a handful of months ago for nostalgia's sake. Can't even hold block while casting spells any more.

I also noticed that when I was in good ol' Rockmilk Cave where marauders are fighting black bow bandits. The second one of them detected me, they pulled their axes and swords out of each others' assholes and started focusing solely on me. They just stopped fighting each other completely.

Also, Expert difficulty makes you take 3x more damage while dealing 0.6x damage apparently. Explains why the fucking mudcrab outside the sewers just disemboweled me lmao.

1. Modern devs can't into optimisation.
2. Unreal Engine.

Yeah, 120 thousand combined triangles on a single character model seems excessive. I am Starfield's biggest hater so I remember the sandwich model being ridiculed for its triangle count (70k). The sandwich model is a fake by 4chan but still.

I'm not seeing big enough leaps in visual quality to justify requirements getting as high as they are. Are they just incompetent or are they trying to prop up the GPU industry or some shit?
