The Elder Scrolls

Gotta say Todd has hit this one out of the park.

With the minimum settings and a RTX 2070S I'm getting a whole 50fps at 1440p with heavy jittering.
It's ridiculous how poorly it runs. I'm using a Titan X Pascal, which I know is an older card but it's similar in perf to a 4060 -RTX +VRAM. I'm getting 30-35fps at 1440p outside unless I turn on the shitty AI upsampling which looks so unacceptably bad I just can't. Reduce resolution? Lower all settings? No it does not help.

I tried playing it on my Steam Deck -- the game is Steam Deck Verified -- and again without AI rendering 98% of the pixels and smearing shit all over my screen it's a disaster and barely runs.

Is mods, unironically, i've played skyrim vanilla so much during its time i remember almost everything from it, however, other people installed mods almost instantly after their first playthrought skewing their memory of it, i've seen people discussing shit that never happened only to turn out it was a mod they thought was part of the vanilla game, bethesda players have gaslighted themselves into thinking the games havent gotten worse after each itteration thanks to them, wich is interesting to me, same shit applies to every other game from them post morrowind, they are remembering a modded version of the game, not the original.
Maybe. I've played each Bethesda game on console so I don't have a skewed memory of any of them. I've never understood the excuse of "it's good with mods" because that's just retarded. A game should be good first and mods to either enhance the already good game to provide something even more fun or add things whether silly or practical. Also, I've never seen any mods that actually make the games worth playing because you still have the shitty gameplay from the core game you have to deal with and anything that does change it looks and plays like complete ass. I'll just never understand Bethesda enjoyers

Oh, cool. They used the voice acting from the original. I'm still not going to buy it unless it gets fixed and goes on sale, but it's still nice.

It's wild that this game apparently uses the same engine as the original which is the only thing keeping it from being a full on remake. That fucking thing is held together with scotch tape and hope at this point, Imagine how good their games could be if they would stop being such cheap cunts and just build a long overdue replacement graphics engine instead of praying it doesn't explode every time they try making a new game?

Jeez they really blacked up my nigga Baurus, but I guess the limitations of Oblivion kept his Redguard-Cyrodillian characteristics from being expressed. I didn't think about how adding facial hair in would effect story characters. A beard doesn't really suit Baurus, he was a member of Bodyguard in the blades and always struck me as a straight military man, even when he was slumming it during the early main quest.

Really if anyone should get a remake beard it'd be Uriel Septim but I guess they really wanted to make him look like Patrick Stewart

Bethesda addresses the big elephant in the room in every meeting she attends 🤣

I'm so happy that kiwifarmers are giving money to these people, I'm sure they all love White right wing male gamers. Elder Scrolls 6 is in great hands thanks to your support of these fine developers. I really hope they add all ~50 genders and top surgery scars to it.

What gets me is that they have access to the idtech engine
Probably not as moddable. Older versions are because they're open source. The current one is still closed source and will probably remain that way since John Carmack is the only reason previous idtech engines became open open source.

not even that, getting idtech to take the place of unreal as the renderer would be the problem and good luck getting a M$ exec to agree to that without having a mini heart attack since idtech is way above the tech skills of any SEAnigger or pajeet which translates to more money wasted to hire a capable programmer.

They really beat Argonians with the Nigersaurus stick. They are unfortunate looking now.
