Of course the Empire in Skyrim is in the shadows after Oblivion. We know Martin Septim sacrificied himself to defeat Mehrunes Dagon.
Like i said pages ago; even Talos (Wulf as a Avatar in Morrowind) says the Empire is old and a change must be.

And now, about an "asset" of Ulfric, the rebellion keep the Thalmor winning in Skyrim.
And like i said before: fooling those plans is winning the civil war, either side.
The most ironic part is Tullius before being killed is saying the exact same thing.

Anyone else been reading the latest that it's likely gonna be a 2028/29 release for TES6?

Skyrim releasing in 2011, it's successor releasing maybe 17 years later is batshit insane, that is the same time between every other TES game up until Skyrim, how...?

It's crazy. Not that I would want a ubislop Assassin's Creed style release schedule for TES, but what other company would have such a commercial success like Skyrim and just do nothing with it for 15 (and counting) years? Skyrim was so big that it escaped the video game ecosphere and started to seep into the mainstream culture along with the likes of Laura Croft. Nowadays, the average 15 year old probably doesn't really know that much about Skyrim. They might have seen a meme here or there but how many of them have actually played it?. Bethesda didn't strike when the iron was hot, they waited for it to cool down and rust into powder in an abandoned warehouse.

I tried a racism speedrun last night. First tried it in Morrowind. Wasn't keeping time, so no idea exactly how long it took me to get called fetcher. Heard something like fetcher amidst the chaos and pressed Alt+F4. Then I tried Daggerfall.

Zoomed through Priveteer's Hold. Found out you can make enemies fight eachother, at least in the Unity version. Got out and warped to the mearest town. Asked someone for work until they said something racist. Took about 2-3 minutes.

You can get that time down to a few seconds in the Unity version by deselecting the 'start in dungeon' option in the launcher. You spawn outside and can instantly warp to town to receive your racial abuse.

The enemy infighting is neat, been really enjoying the language overhaul mod that lets you recruit pacified enemies to follow you around.

Is just flavor;
If they curse me as a Redguard, they cursed me as a Breton and so on.

Did you want get racism? Try Oblivion. Piss off someone with the persuasion mini-game and pass by next time. You'll be surprised.

Too easy. You get hit with racism instantly in Oblivion. A racism longrun with mods is the real challenge there.

I wanted to try to do this as legit as possible. I've been through Priveteer's Hold so many times it barely matters, anyway. Just zoom to the chair in the skeleton room and pull the lever. Remembering what door has the exit is the main challenge. Got to witness a thief get killed by a rat, which I didn't know was possible.

Thanks for teaching me something new, racism.

it's weird seeing that not much was changed besides poor optimization and some shitty lazy changes for goodboy points like alessia statue and the body type shit.
I honestly prefer the new statue its a better statue and is more reflective of her in the lore.

Hate to be that guy, but... didn't it get mentioned on here a while back that the previous story idea was that neither side canonically ends up winning? There was some talking with Kurt Kuhlmann, one of Bethesda's lore guys; @HTTP Error 404 brought it up here.

Apparently, the original story beat was that the Thalmor ultimately won the second war regardless of whichever side won; the elves were going to officially take center stage as the ultimate villains of the setting, and ES6 was going to be all about going after them. Hence, why there was never a clear winner in Skyrim's story; both sides (were supposed to) end up losing in the end, regardless.
