In light of TES6 taking forever and in advance of Necrom (Telvanni Peninsula Zone) coming out for ESO later this year, I've jumped back into the saddle. I am exclusively a healer and I have a pretty solid Templar, an OK Necromancer, and a Warden I'm working on. The new Arcanist class looks pretty good, excited for the teleport abilities. Getting down the bar rotation and my actions per minute is challenging and the quests in ESO are fun.

Would love to have fellow Kiwi Farmers to play with on PC North America Server.

When I heard they made Necrom, city of the dead, a Telvanni settlement despite its role in the temple I was not even surprised, ESO is nigger cattle slop.

I actually thought the screenshots of the ESO version were Blacklight before I saw it was Necrom.

Do you think Bethesda/Zenimax is purposely ignoring lore just in spite of TR?

So, fun little question I wanted to ask you guys: what's your favorite playable race in the Elder Scrolls franchise? We've all got that one race that we just love to play; what's yours?

Tamriel Rebuilt isn't actually canon, so whatever appearance the mod team goes with is just based on smatterings of lore and their vision of how it should look. Honestly it would be really boring if Bethesda copied TR cities for their games, on top of being pretty scummy. Each doing their own thing is probably for the best.

Breton. High Rock is pure bland high fantasy and I don't give a shit, Daggerfall will always be dear to my heart.

Breton, though in pre-skyrim, I'd be tempted to do altmer.

Naturally resistant to magic, great warriors, great assassins, and great mages. Bretons are the master race.

One thing I've always wondered is whether Morrowind is still technically an Imperial province or not by the time of Skyrim. Lots of lore seems to indicate that it's pretty much independent (which it kind of already was because of Vivec's treaty) but at the same time I don't remember any lore source ever directly stating one way or another what its current political status is unlike the other provinces, and unlike Hammerfell and Black Marsh there's no direct confirmation of the Empire directly ceding it as a province.

It is, Hlaalu where expelled and Redoran is the new master of Resdynia. Canonically the Neverine must not have fixed up the legion as they were said to completely dissolve against the daedra leaving the Hlaalu lawmen to basically be slaughtered, although Temple, Redoran, and even Telvanni forces were in some case able to close gates (The Bouyant Armigers and Elite Ordinators make a lot of sense, but the canonically shittest soldiers in morrowind are the telvanni enforcers, who are particularly unloyal mercenaries). The Empire has Riften has the base of an invasion in Skyrim to cut off the land route to Black Light and presumably the Imperial navy is still leagues better than the Dunmeri navy. Morrowind was always bit a cup of trouble as it was not completely raped like Summerset, these two Merific nations were the great powers when the Septim empire arose, with eleven districts with a single district Vvardenfell having five legions in it (there are approximately 30-40 legions in total with the legion putting about 12-15 in morrowind, mostly in Hlaalu lands, with mainland Ebonheart being the center of imperial rule with there likely being little presence in Indoril, Dres, and Telvanni lands even 400 years in). Morrowind would be to costly to reconquer at the moment, I imagine the current Redoran regime is actually going to outlast the Mede dynasty at least. It would be a hard fight, one that the Thalmor could join and easily allow Veloth to win, probably ending the empire right then.

TL:DR; No Morrowind is not in the Empire

I've been playing Daggerfall Unity this winter and having a blast. Highly recommend with a couple extra mods (if you get the GOG version which has a bunch of mods included):
